Why get your nutrition and fitness news at dailySpark?
You can trust SparkPeople to give you accurate, medically-accepted information that helps you get fit, lose weight, and eat better in the real world—just like we've been doing for years. The information at dailySpark.com is no exception. It's 100% free to use, and your SparkPeople account (username and password) works there, so you can easily transfer between both sites. Each time we blog, you can get involved, too, by commenting on entries to share your thoughts with other readers. And if you have a story idea to share, email the dailySpark editor directly—we just may blog about the very topic you suggest! Plus, you'll earn SparkPoints for reading the blog entries. Get up to 6 points per day!

How do you find the dailySpark?
We've made it as easy as possible for you to find out about the latest news, without having to go out of your way. You can go to www.dailySpark.com any time! In addition, you'll find links on SparkPeople.com that will take you there. Look to your Start Page (in the blue "My Content" column), the Healthy Lifestyle Home page, your customized Web Search page, and more for easy links as well. Plus, you can also subscribe to receive emails whenever a new dailySpark story is posted. To subscribe, click here.

What's a blog?
In simple terms, a blog (a combination of the words "Web" and "log") is a Website where people "blog" (add entries, which are like short articles) on a regular basis. The newest entries show up on top, so you can easily see what's new and interesting each time you visit, but can read older entries, too. Visitors can add comments to each entry, email interesting entries to others, link to the blog from other sites, and even subscribe to alerts about new entries.

Unlike other articles on SparkPeople.com, the dailySpark's blog entries will often be shorter, include more opinions and personal accounts, and react more quickly to news and trends as they're happening. Think of it as a new, fun way to learn from SparkPeople's experts and coaches, and interact with others by sharing your own experiences and comments.

Our experts will be blogging daily at www.dailySpark.com, so check it out! Don't forget to share your comments on the entries you read, and click the button at the bottom of the entries you read to earn your SparkPoints!
