When to Call A Doctor

Prior to any surgery, tell your surgeon, primary care doctor and anesthesiologist if you:

  • Have a family history of malignant hyperthermia

  • Have had one or more episodes of heat stroke or exercise-induced hyperthermia

  • Have muscle symptoms or a known muscle disease
