Great story. Thanks for sharing. It's nice to know there are people who've lost the weight willing to work with and motivate those of us who still have a ways to go.

I found this article very interesting because I am going through the same thing. I am also curious about calorie intake. I try to keep my calorie intake around 1300 calories a day and I burn somewhere between 500-700 calories at the gym each day. Am I taking in enough calories? My doctor keeps telling me no but I have been loosing weight. Could not enough of a calorie intake make a person plateau?

Coach Dean is a Godsend. I can see myself in everything he says. I am 58 and have been up and down all my adult life. Now I'm scared......scared to fail again, scared to succeed, but he is giving me the motivation knowing I am not alone. I can do this...I must.

Nice article! Very inspirational. It shows that you have to look within and motivate your own spirit for the right reasons.

Thank you for sharing. At 54 I regret waiting so long to take charge of my eating and health. I know I will never look 25 again and that makes me a little sad. But I am looking forward to looking like a healthy, active 54 year old by the end of the year.

Coach Dean, you helped me earlier today more than you could know in my Panic room post. I appreciate that and appreciate that you shared your story with all of us. I know that one day I'll have a story too and I use that as motivation and inspiration in times that it seems so hard. I'm still a beginner but your story helps me to know that it can be accomplished. Thanks again!
