Hi my name is Eileen and I just started this program today. I think the tracking of food and exercise tools are so easy. I also use the mobile application on my phone when I am not at home. The tracker told me I was almost out of calories and so I completed out the day an it showed where I spent my calories and if i was using them as I wanted. Pretty cool. I have fios cable and used the 20 minute workout (30 day shred) what a work out. So off to a good start on day 1..now the tough part, wake up and do it again tomorrow. :)

I just joined yesterday after finding out about this site on Amazon.com of all places. I was researching those devices called BodyBugg and a couple of reviewers said they recorded all their food on this site. It is amazing. A site that gives you a personalized workout, menu, shopping list (which I can adjust to feed 6 people instead of just myself). And it's free! I am now trying to get into the groups and communities to connect with others as excited about transforming their lives. I have a goal of losing 50 pounds by August 1, 2009.

I joined Spark People in July/08 with the intention of losing 10 lbs. in 10 weeks. I was very faithful with the portion control and exercise and I did lose 10 lbs. I feel fabulous. My husband and I went away for a holiday and I thought I would gain 10 and more back but with all I learned I was able to maintain and only gain 1 lb. Here again I made sure I incorporated the exercise in and watch my portions. I am so proud of myself! I now know it can be done and my next goal is 10 more lbs. I think it will be easy. Writing down what I ate and using the Nutrition Tools kept me on track. If I can do it anyone can do it! Good Luck!

Hi, Beverly here from West Yorkshire in England. Lots of my friends are losing loads of weight on the "lighterlife" diet and I can't do that so need to eat sensibly and lose! Here goes..........................

Hi there,
I am a new member, I have good intentions, but somehow I seem to lose them.
I have to lose 20 pounds, I think that all my aches and pains are due to this, lower back pains, hip pains, neck pains etc. I hope that I can follow through, maybe joining this site will motivate me.
