SUUUUUPER idea! I'm thinking of how I used to HATE having my picture taken and what memories my kids have lost of me during the "dark" years. This idea is terrific and I'd like to start one....thanks for sharing yours!
I, too, am an avid scrapbooker. I had thought about trying to make a scrapbook of my weight loss journey, but wasn't sure how to start. Thanks for sharing your GREAT idea! I will get started now. Thanks again!
What a GREAT idea. As a personal trainer, working with a client who LOVES to scrap-book, and she's embarking upon a lenghty weight loss journey, this is just PERFECT! Thanks! : )

Great idea I just made a food journal and write in it but yours is so much better. Actually putting pictures and anything you want to see the progress. I think I might have to try that one. Thanks for posting your ideas.
I have read many articles that say one of the best ways to stay on track is to keep a journal. I've tried but it gets to be a pain in the behind to write down everything you eat, etc. I LOVE this idea. You are a genius!!! I went tonight and bought me a cool looking journal! I got a variety of stickers like letters, beach stuff, puppy paws, etc. I'm actually excited about starting, and most importantly be consistent with, my journaling/scrapbook!! Again, you are the bomb! Thank you for the idea and wonderful inspiration!!!

what a great way to do this weight loss I think I will make one too. The only thing is how to get started, I am retired and have lots of time to make a journal. I am going to look around in the scrapebook section and see what I could use. Thanks for the wonderful story AMY

I have been looking for something to help me get started and to keep me motivated. I am taking my first day of a nutrition class tonight and want to make this the "first day for the rest of my life" moment. This is best idea I have ever heard of and I know that this will give me exactly what I need. Thanks so much for the sharing.
Great journal! I currently journal (3-4 times a week) about anything and everything that is going on in my life and have found it to be one of the best things you can do for yourself. It's amazing how you can reduce stress just by writing down the way you feel.
I love the idea of the weight loss scrapbook - not only a great way to document your progess, but having a visual account of where you started can be a wonderful incentive to not go back there. Terrific idea! Thanks!
This is terrific. I start and stop journaling all the time. I have never found the perfect journal type for me - I love yours. I don't know if I'm as creative, but I sure love what you have done and feel very inspired. Thanks.
What a fantastic idea. Thanks for the spark. This gives me another avenue to keep motivated. I am new to all this and working till 8PM doesn't give much time to glance at all that spark pages.. Slowly I believe I will get the hang of every page where to enter my daily stuff and when.
I think a journal is a fabulous idea because with a lot of us its not "just what we are eating....it is what is eating us". I know for me, an emotional journey is truly the only way my eating disorder (overeating) will ever get under control. There is a reason that I can loose over 50 lbs successfully and then throw it away only to gain more! I have done this countless times. I am afriad of something and I intend to find out why self sabotage exists in my world.
Gee, I've only been battling my weight (even originally an extra 10#) for 40 years! I've got some journals that are 30-40 years old, & even tho' they're "personal journals," my weight & food, etc. is always mentioned. I REALLY like your idea of writing both the good & the bad, adding pictures/collages/cut outs & exercises/activities you've participated in. I've got a gazillion empty journals, so because of your sharing, I'm going to start my OWN journal to keep track of my progress. Thanks so much for being willing to open up your journal to the rest of us. Sue/TX
