  • I do intermittent fasting on weekdays. On weekends I eat a hearty low carb breakfast.
  • Intermittent Fasting decreases insulin release, causing the body to deplete sugar and fast stores. There is a lot of information out the that directly contradicts this information.
  • If I eat breakfast I wind up hungry for the rest of the day. It's really annoying and I've just had to start avoiding food until noon. I must be the exception that proves the rule.

  • i make a bowl of 1/2 cup of oats, and 1 tbsp each of flax, chia, and coconut flakes. then i add 1/2 scoop of protein powder, a couple spoons of greek yogurt and top it off with almond milk and raspberries. You can make it the night before and it is so delicious and filling. I have to remind myself to eat at lunch because i am still not hungry.

  • I find that if I rush breakfast before I go to work I don't even remember eating it and neither does my stomach. However, when I get to work and have settled in I quite often have my porridge and enjoy every mouthful. This can be as early as 9.30 which I think is still Breakfast time! Then I am not so hungry at morning tea time or lunch time and my overall daily calorie intake is quite good during the day which means I have enough left to enjoy a nice night time meal and sometimes even a treat!
