  • Interesting step by step guide to do something I keep putting off. The only thing I seem to excel in is procrastination.
  • I liked this article and think it's really encouraging, especially for people who are just starting...or who, like me, keep restarting. It's never too late and having a good plan is essential. I have just one bone to pick: food as a reward has generally been frowned upon, especially here on SP. Suggesting someone go out to their favorite restaurant as a reward for making strides toward healthier lifestyle? I don't now about that one.

    Determined to stick to it and need all the encouragement I can find! Spark People have helped before I drifted back to old ways. so now, I begin again to try to succeed with weight loss. No easy path except diet and exercise but when successful, the feeling is euphoric!. Today is yet another Day One. All of my photos are before pictures!! I want a decent AFTER picture!

  • Thank you for the birthday wishes. I love this article. I started my wellness track Sept 2015. I had been a member of Sparkpeople for awhile. Sort of like I attended church for a long time before I got the Spark there too. I feel like Sparkpeople is a community of like minded people who support their fellow members. Thank you so much!

    Thanks for the Birthday wishes, your message really hit home especially today now that I am a year older. Last year was a very stressful year with the passing of my mother to whom I have looked after for 25 years. I miss her everyday and the last 2 mos all I did is feel sad and became a foodaholic and couch potato. Decided to pick my self up and start a new chapter in my life. Signed back up for Pilates to be around my friends, exercising on my equipment at home and writing down what I eat everyday using the Sparkpeople tracker. I love your website for information, encouragement and the exercise programs.
    Please keep up the good work.
