  • I've written in journals for many years. It has been helpful in the past. I probably need to start doing this again. My self-esteem has taken a nose dive recently.

  • Building a Journaling habit has not been easy for me. I feel that often I don't have much to say and I do not like going over my days step by step in writing. It seems to pickyune to me. However, since I've started on Spark People, I have begun commenting in my online journal, writing about stress, gratitude, the healthy reflection of the day or even problems that I want to explore further. Now I journal daily and blog a few times per week. It's fun and I could never have imagined this. Part of the secret for me what to have a structure to make it easy and topical. My wellness journey!

  • My pastor suggested that I journal when I was going through some pretty rocky times. I write about the good, the bad and the ugly in my life and it has helped me more than I can say. Journaling has helped me make see what is really important in my life, helped me make life-changing decisions and so much more. I highly recommend it!

    I just realized that the Journal I have been keeping since September of 2009, as a matter of fact it is one year to the day, has been a negative journal. Whoa! I was shocked. I am going to replace this with a new journal that is positive. Looks like I am not the only one that kept a negative journal. This will be one more change for the better for me. That is a goal of mine. To be more optomistic about things. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
