  • The advice is good and the link to the article has good, no better advice. They are, both, time well worth the while reading. I see where my faultlines are and how to make the necessary adjustments to the faults. After the adjustments have been made, they will make an impressionable difference. - 3/7/2011 10:14:20 PM

  • Building a Journaling habit has not been easy for me. I feel that often I don't have much to say and I do not like going over my days step by step in writing. It seems to pickyune to me. However, since I've started on Spark People, I have begun commenting in my online journal, writing about stress, gratitude, the healthy reflection of the day or even problems that I want to explore further. Now I journal daily and blog a few times per week. It's fun and I could never have imagined this. Part of the secret for me what to have a structure to make it easy and topical. • Such a great article! Guess I don't lack self-esteem but still think this is a great way to accent the positive, eliminate the negative! - 10/8/2010 8:19:53 PM
  • My pastor suggested that I journal when I was going through some pretty rocky times. I write about the good, the bad and the ugly in my life and it has helped me more than I can say. Journaling has helped me make see what is really important in my life, helped me make life-changing decisions and so much more. I highly recommend it! - 10/8/2010 11:51:47 AM

I just realized that the Journal I have been keeping since September of 2009, as a matter of fact it is one year to the day, has been a negative journal. Whoa! I was shocked. I am going to replace this with a new journal that is positive. Looks like I am not the only one that kept a negative journal. This will be one more change for the better for me. That is a goal of mine. To be more optomistic about things. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. - 9/7/2010 7:30:26 PM
  • Thanks Elizabeth. I really needed this. - 8/22/2010 7:44:46 AM
  • This article is right on time. Improving my self-esteem is a priority for me and I will be using these suggestions in my journaling. I never realized how far down my self-esteem had gone until recently. But this has helped in reenergizing my efforts - 8/4/2010 6:48:47 PM
