  • I buy the big containers of grapes (1 red and 1 green) at Costco then come home and separate them into freezer bags. They're GREAT for snacks mid-afternoon when I get the sweet tooth and, being frozen, they take a little longer to eat. They don't freeze solid like an ice cube, more like a hard slush. 150grams is right about 105 calories. - 2/8/2013 6:21:39 PM
  • 3 oz baby carrots with a 100-calorie pack of Wholly Guacamole - 2/8/2013 7:26:07 AM
  • My favorite snack is a clementine. - 2/1/2013 8:22:06 AM
  • I like plain greek yogurt (skim) with a stevia packet and vanilla, with one rectangle of graham cracker. Though really I will eat just about anything as a snack, it's just been a process of learning what is a reasonable portion. - 1/30/2013 6:01:28 PM
  • I love the idea of pairing a nice tea (5-10 calories) with a snack... Like chai tea along side some pairs sprinkled with cinnamon! A cup of coffee would go nicely with a lot of these as well. Plus adding a drink can help make the snack last longer =) - 1/25/2013 2:58:13 AM
  • Not very many options for those who are gluten & dairy free :(
SP - this would be an awesome guide for those of us with either allergies or working through the testing phase! - 1/21/2013 8:02:58 PM
  • For those of you who would like to save this and may not know how, there is an option on the left near the bottom that looks like a little heart with a check mark; click that and it will be added to your spark favorites. I just had to figure this out myself. lol

Great article by the way! I definitely want to try watermelon with feta! - 1/21/2013 4:50:52 PM
  • I want to throw out another idea! My favourite is 1 apple, sliced up and 1T of peanut butter for a good filling yummy snack! - 1/21/2013 4:14:05 PM
  • I'd sure like to save this, but I don't have a clue how to do that! GREAT list! Thanks! - 1/21/2013 3:31:18 PM
This is a great list. Is there a plan to incorporate these snack ideas into the meal plans? It helps remind me that they are out there :) - 1/21/2013 1:53:41 PM
  • This is a wonderful list. I am going to share it with a friend in his mid-70s who is in dire need of nutrition help as an Type II diabetic. This will get him started on a better path.
I'll use it for myself as well! - 1/21/2013 12:36:59 PM
  • Retract what I just said below/above (depending on your viewing). ;) I found all of these tabs on the far left hand side of the article. Thanks! - 1/21/2013 11:03:01 AM
  • I agree with other people, I would love to print this list as a quick reminder to post on my refrigerator. Also, why can't I save this to my favorites anymore. I have noticed this with other articles, too. - 1/21/2013 10:59:09 AM
  • A interesting guide list! - 1/21/2013 10:21:19 AM
  • Great list. Would love to print it.

What's up with the griping about it being almost a meal etc? Some people may find those snacks to be quite restrained in comparison to where they are right now. YOU may be close to perfect, but others may find lots of help here. Move on and find another article to gripe about.

Love the variety on the list. - 1/21/2013 8:29:12 AM
