  • great snacks--I love low fat ricotta cheese 1/4 cup, and then vary the snack depending on what sounds good- I have added walnuts/cinnamon, honey/cinnamon, dark cocoa powder/cinnamon, or a tsp of simply fruit/a few fresh berries---all make great snacks that remind me of cheesecake. - 1/30/2016 9:36:54 PM

  • I like all of these, yum. I haven't used a vending machine, other than a water bottle machine at an emergency room, in years at work or out-and-about.
    I keep a bag of (brand names) shelled pistachios and shelled pecans at work as well as the 1.5 oz boxes of raisins and craisins and a bag of granola cereal. Take a .25 cup of each nut and either craisin or raisin mixed in with granola and I have a trail mix. I'll make a big bowl and leave it on our shift table with a scoop to share with my other shift workers. When we leave Va. to visit folks in Kansas (hers) or Florida (mine) we pre=mix the granola and nuts and then add the raisins and craisins later when we want a snack.
