Love this article! Yes, I do a lot of this already, but these are some good reminders. Number one tip for me? Finding more uses for avocado. I am going to start putting it in my sandwiches in place of at least some of he mayo. And 9 fruits and veggies a day? OK, you're on!
I'm so glad to see something along this line as goals, rather than just fitness and freggies , etc. I already do a number of these things, but my goals are to up the experimenting in general, but also specifically with beans, legumes, and different grains. This area is such an integral part of the healthy lifestyle, and so rewarding to have my own home cooked, fresh, healthy meals. I enjoy them over eating out, and I look forward to improving.
For those who say you don't have time, make the time. I enjoy batch cooking and using the crockpot, and freeze quite a bit. So simple to just take something out to un-thaw during the week, and eat. A little more effort up-front, saves much time later.
Duh! If I would just eat all the things I'm supposed to eat, there would be no room left for the things I'm not supposed to eat!

All wonderful suggestions, all part of the "it's all connected" approach. For those of us who do most of this already - kick it up a notch and start eating home-cooked meals 18-21 times a week! (assuming 3 squares a day)

These are entirely doable, and I can see how the end result of implementing them could really be transformative! Very inspiring :)
great article...practical, simple, baby steps towards health, and looking at it as a reward and learning process, not as a punishment or with a negative attitude!
