I like her tip for beginner, "keep your walking shoes in your car".

Very inspiring and great to read! The only issue I have is with the suggestion of leaving running shoes in your car. I read that it's not good to do that because the heat can ruin the rubber components of shoes... just throwing that out there! I actually own 2 pairs... keep one at home and keep one at work, so they are always there where I am :-)
Thank you for sharing your story. You are such an inspiration to those of us who are just starting out, like myself and to those that have been on the journey and need some encouragement to stick it. You look fabulous and soooo fit! Good luck to you, and I would love to add you as a friend.
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ACHIEVMENTS! YOUR STORY IS TRULY AN INSPIRATION TO ME! I AM OBESE AND I CONTINUE TO MAKE EXCUSES DAILY SO I DON'T HAVE TO EXERCISE, BUT YOU HAVE TRULY INSPIRED ME TO GET MY BUTT UP AND JUST WALK! I KNOW I CAN DO IT IF YOU COULD, SO WISH ME GOOD LUCK! THANKS AGAIN!

Thank you for sharing this story! I have started walking every day and really love it, I feel better all the time. I find your story very inspirational, and will think of it on days when I need some extra motivation to get out the door and get going. Many congratulations to you!
At my age, I could NOT walk 5 miles a day. Maybe 3! This AM, I went over 7 miles. I am feeling fine from it!

Well done to you! I started walking a week or two ago, and - bizarrely - weighed the same as you. For my frame though, that's about 70lb too much. However, I'm now working on the idea that whatever comes off is great. I'm not focussing on the big goal, but a few pounds at a time, which makes it seem more achievable. You've reinforced my idea of walking/dieting! Many thanks!
