I try to do water aerobics about 5 x weekly. My husband's knee replacement went awry, but after the 2nd. surgery, re-hab, and running in the pool for many months, it is very good now. Finally the swelling is down and we credit working out in the pool.
I didn't know about the pool and walking in the pool helping to burn more calories. I was walking about 1 mile a day until it got too hot to walk now I can start that again. Too cool for the pool now, even on the hottest days I have not been able to get into the pool, think my blood has turned to ice water its always to cold for me. Thank you for the information.
WOW I DIDN'T KNOW THAT WALKING IN WATER WAS 4XS MORE THAN WALKING ON LAND. I STARTED YESTERDAY SWIMMING & WALKING IN THE POOL. THANKS FOR THE TIP VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. I USUALLY WALK THREE TO FOUR MILES A DAY ON LAND
