    I never do the modified push up. I think it takes longer to build up more endurance if you do the easier ones. I shoot for 100 regular push ups a day. I do as many as I can all at once (right now 39 in a minute) then do them all thru the day in sets of 5 or 10. The push up is a great exercise. - 6/21/2009 8:18:41 AM

  • I set my little Stop watch on my cell phone and got to work...after about 35seconds i had to go a little slower..and would you believe i did 32 modified push ups???!! That's a rating of excellent for my Age group...i am a little proud of myself right about now!!! :) - 4/13/2009 5:40:31 PM
  • Well I did 41 modified pushups (27 full pushups) when I tried again for these...not too shabby for 49 years old.!
    I scored excellent in all 3 tests..in fact I was in the excellent range for someone 15 years younger than I am in all 3.

  • I did 20 & that's average for my age, so I'm thrilled!! I don't think my fitness has ever been "average". Yay for getting in shape! I've lost 20 pounds and I feel so much better just from that, but I could stand to lose atleast 50 more. But I am stoked that I did so well on the pushup test!! - 11/17/2008 10:46:55 PM
  • I did better than I thought I would. I did 19 and was yelling during the last one I did. :) I'm 37 so that puts me in the average category. I made a note on my SP to see how I do four weeks from now. I'm starting a ST routine (Jari Love's Ripped to the Core DVD) so I'm sure I'll be better by then! - 11/17/2008 6:45:49 PM
