I used to regularly get 55+ pushups in 2 minutes in the Army, and beat nearly all the boys! But I'm not offended by this test, in that it's not a workout, but a test of fitness that women can measure. I'd recommend practicing with real pushups, and then when it's time to test, enjoy the results with the female chart! That's what I'm going to do. Honestly, we have our weight distributed down aWAY from our shoulders, so we really are lifting "more" than the guys, like the way a see saw is affected by you moving out and away from the fulcrum. Don't be offended--just go for it, measure yourself, and take pride in being a women with your beautiful hips. And max the female test if you're good at standard pushups. Because again, you probably really ARE doing more work proportionally compared to a male.
