  • This sooo me this week. Have totally blown my calorie budget and have not worked out since Tuesday. I am not sure what the problem is but I plan on changing it.
  • This is me in a nutshell!! I even told my grandkids that I have an allergy to sugar! And believed I do, because if I go off and eat 1 piece of dessert, my whole attitude is ~ start over again...and it turns out to be weeks before I feel I am really on track again!!
Thanks for reminding us that we are all imperfect....and need to forgive, and get back up ASAP with not 1, but 2 goals to start the momentum rolling again!
  • This was very timely for ke, as I have been on vacation for 2 weeks. I f8cused on lots of extra hiking but have pretty much eatenpoorly. I stil lost 1.5 lbs! Yeah! But, back to tracking today.

  • Thanks! I needed that.
  • I am AGAIN! Lost 20 pounds on the HCG Diet with my naturopath and when life tragedies struck, I have done nothing but look to comfort foods. I do not feel good about myself! It is time to muster up the courage and confidence to glow again.
Hello people! Today is my first day on SP program. I have been on another program and have not moved an ounce in 6 months. I have lost 97 pounds and have about 55 pounds to go to be where I want to be -- where my Dr. wants me to be. I am a cancer survivor and this sounds just right for me. Wish me luck!
OK... the thrill of enthusiasm is lacking right now. I'm not exactly walking backwards, but you could say I'm marching in place! Not gaining, but not losing either. Currently I am not as diligent as I was at the beginning with tracking food and exercise, but I am exercising and eating with awareness, applying the good habits I've learned since joining SP. I haven't thrown all caution to the wind but I fear this can be a slippery slope because I know the eyes can not reliably judge portions accurately for long. This article is just the nudge I need right now... Thanks SP!!! Onward!
  • This is soooo important for me. I find it so difficult to get out of my "All or Nothing" attitude, which I know just sets me up for failure. It's hard to appreciate the small things I do when the overall picture looks so BIG. I am definitely printing this list out!
  • Reading health books gets me back in the mood to be healthy or watching health documentaries from Netflix. I have to be immersed in it to do it, like get books at library. Or buy a running magazine or something. It gets me more excited.

    Thanks for the tips.
  • I'm not sure this covers where I am, but there are good suggestions for getting where I need to go.

I came back to SP tired, discouraged, and afraid that I would still not be able to make any progress. With a have-to-do health threat hanging over my head, I want to be enthusiastic about setting out on this journey, but I haven't built up any steam yet.
  • About 3 months ago i got layed off, then i was blessed with a great opportunity to work a home. More money, no driving, dream job? Right? Well the trade off is i've gained 15 pounds in less than 2 months. So this is a great article to get me motivated and get back on track.

Will let you all know my progress, wish me luck :)
