  • Wow, it seems like the author of this article has been sitting on my shoulder watching me! From the first papragraph she had me pegged. I was going full steam ahead losing 24 lbs in 9 weeks and then in March I got sick, got better, went on vacation and just never regained the motivation. I lost and regained the same 3.5 lbs throughout the month ending with a 0 loss for the month.   • I also avoided this article as I was feeling low and not at all motivated. Then I read it and printed it out and found that just by printing it I felt better. Have been doing OK with the diet and exercise but because of family stuff have been feeling down with low energy levels. After reading and re-reading the article I realise that although I have been down I have been very busy and active so am feeling more positive.   • I bypassed the article for a couple days because I just have had no motivation to do anything. I thought if I joined weight watchers I would get back on track. since last fall I gained 20lbs back cloth are not fitting anymore.   • I was cruising along almost 2 months with steady success when my life hit a speed bump. 2 weeks ago my 19 year old daughter had surgery and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and as a teacher I was already trying to juggle report cards, parent conferences and my evaluation, all at the same time. There was not a minute left in the day for me and I let the workouts go. Life has stabilized somewhat but I'm still telling myself that I will begin my workouts again...tomorrow.     I just went to the doctor last week and while I thought I had lost 21 lbs, he said I had actually lost 25. So I was elated. But for the last week and a half I've been slacking off. Not planning anything. I still have quite a way to go and guess what? I've been cruising on my success. And gained 2 lbs back. This article couldn't have come at a better time!!
