  • This is exactly what I needed to see today. I absolutely have eaten horribly the past couple days and have not worked out. I still have a Thanksgiving dinner today AND tomorrow. The good thing is, I'm already kind of over Thanksgiving food for now, so I think today's the day I'll get back on track!

  • Great tips at a great time! Nothing better than jumping back on the horse after a holiday to make us feel better and to mark when we started our transformations. - 11/29/2008 7:48:45 AM
Great after Thanksgiving day (and after Thanksgiving day!) article. This is one attitude I have worked on changing in the last several months. Blowing it does not mean you are doomed. Brush off the perfectionism and get back on the path of moving toward your goals. - 11/28/2008 9:00:45 PM

  • Thanks for the great reminder and motivation. It reinforces all the options and opportunities SP offers. I am mainting (give and take a couple pounds but need to lose at least 10 more pounds. Maybe I WILL celan the slate and start over just to get my groove back! I began with a 2 mile walk this morning and it was wonderful. Did some garden winterizing before the rain comes today and redid my motivation board last night. That 10 pounds is coming off before new year. I can, I will and I thank you! - 11/28/2008 11:43:39 AM
  • A very timely article for me, the last 2 weeks have been step backs for me. I didn't stop working out, but I did stop counting calories. I didn't want to burn out, so I took time off from counting calories between Biggest Loser challenges. Not a good idea for me, I have been stress eating and gained a couple of pounds. Thanks Coach Nicole, I have saved this article for future reference. - 11/28/2008 10:56:02 AM
  • What a great article and very much right on target with how I have been feeling for almost 2 weeks now. I needed that boost. Thanks NIcole!

Now I think I am going to check out those boot camp videos that daughteroflight mentioned. - 11/28/2008 10:20:51 AM
  • Nicole, a great article! Thanks for the reminder that it's one small step at a time. I've been doing your boot camp work outs too--they're awesome too. You're a real encouragement. THANKS!!! - 11/28/2008 10:06:37 AM
  • I logged on this morning and was so sad because I have gained 5.5 pounds since I joined SP a couple months ago. I felt ready to give up. Then I saw the link to Today's Feature and felt it was written for me. Thank you so much for the encouragement and baby step suggestions. I am not giving up. I realize I have actually made some great successes... am drinking 8 glasses of water, going to the gym twice a week.. I may take your suggestion and start over, taking with me what I have already learned and accomplished thanks to SP. I am refocused. - 11/28/2008 9:31:01 AM
  • This is a FANTASTIC Article to help Inspire and Motivate Anyone...I am going to add it to my Spark Page so that others can benefit from it as well...I know it will serve me well to have it as a constant reminder . Sometimes we all need a little extra encouragement. Thank you SparkPeople! - 11/28/2008 6:43:34 AM
  • Yesterday, Thanksgiving, I ate too much even though I said I wasn't going to. So beginning right now at 3:00 am I am starting again. I refuse to let one day undo all the hard work I've put in. Thank you, that was a great article. - 11/28/2008 6:26:40 AM
