THIS CHALLENGE USUALLY GOES FOR 2 MONTHS BUT WE ARE EXTENDING IT TO 4 MONTHS THIS TIME.

5 questions you MUST answer “YES” too……..

1. Can you post EVERY day unless you are on a trip or there is an emergency?

2. Do you have a measuring tape? You NEED this to start the challenge.

3. Can you be selfish? This is about YOU so you NEED to be selfish here.

4. Can you commit to this challenge?

5. Have you read and agreed to the rules?


Rules and Requirements:

1. You may miss only one weigh in but if you do you will need to subtract 50 pts from the next weigh in pts. If you miss a second time you will no longer be a part of the FTF. The same goes for measurements.

2. There will be a deadline date to weigh in and to submit your measurements….. Once that deadline passes you will no longer be able to post your stats (refer to rule #1)

3. You must post EVERY day and it needs to be more than your food for the day or a quick hello. We are here to support each other and would appreciate the same respect from you. If you do not post and you do not let me know ahead of time why you are not going to be able to post you shall subtract 25pts for each day you did not post…. Max of 2 days without posting and if you exceed the maximum you will be asked to leave when you come back.

4. If you commit we ask that you don’t quit. Everyone on this team will be relying on each other for support and encouragement. We all need to be 100% committed to this challenge and each other.

5. There will be weekly challenges each month. Week 1 = Challenge 1; Week 2 = Challenge 2 AND Challenge 1; Week 3 = Challenge 3 AND Challenges 1 & 2; Week 4 = Challenge 4 AND Challenges 1-3. The new month will start over with new challenges.

6. New Point System:
WATER = 1 pt/day (minimum 8-10 8-oz glasses) Maximum 7 pts/week

FOOD = 5 pts/day (must post daily food intake on team thread; subtract 1 pt for every 50 calories over total allowed) Maximum 35 pts/week

PEDOMETER: 5000 steps = 1 pt. 10,000 steps = 2 pts. PLUS 1 pt for every 1,000 steps over 10,000. (Example: 13,560 steps = 5 pts.) No maximum

EXERCISE: Cardio = 1 pt for every 10 minutes. Strength = 2 pts for every 10 minutes. No maximum
BLC JOURNAL = 1 pt/day (use for tracking food or how you are doing/feeling) Maximum 7 pts/week

WEEKLY CHALLENGES = 1 pt/day for every challenge (week 1 = 7 pts; week 2 = 14 pts; week 3 = 21 pts; week 4 = 28 points) Maximum 70 pts/MONTH
DAILY POST TO TEAM THREAD = 5 pts/day (This is a REQUIREMENT, unless circumstances prevent it) Maximum 35 pts/week

WEIGHT LOSS = 5 pts per pound lost; 1 pt for maintaining weight subtract 2 pts for every pound gained.

7. Everyone is required to post the food they’ve eaten for the day. Calories do need to be posted along with your calorie range that you are allowed.

8. There will be cash prizes for the 8-week Fit Club Challenge winners***. Each 8-week period will be the Fit Club Challenge. Everyone will be asked to pay $10 into the prize pot. There will be a winner for: Highest % weight lost; highest points; and a team vote for MML…Most Motivating Loser!

9. Special Weekly Bonuses: Every week when the weigh-in thread is started, there will be special bonus points announced. These will be earned by achieving the criteria named in the bonus. (Example: For every hour over 3 hours total that you exercised this week, add 10 pts; if you exercised 5 hours, give yourself 20 extra pts.) They will change every week, and there may be 1 or there may be 3…it will be a surprise!

10. Weigh-in: Everyone will weigh-in on Saturday mornings. You will have until midnight the following Monday to post your stats UNLESS something prevents you from weighing in and you have talked to me or a co leader.

11. Point Spreadsheet: There will be an Excel point spreadsheet available for everyone to track their points and a food log to keep track of calories, steps, and water intake. I will email these to you they are ready to use.

12. You will be required to submit a before picture with the date on it or you can hold a sign with the date….. And you will be required to submit an after picture with the date on it or you can hold a sign with the date in order to be eligible for a prize. These will be emailed to me and the co leaders.

13. Must be willing to provide an email address and must be prepared for the Leader or co-leaders to follow up with them should they not post 2 days in a row.
You can provide a phone number if you are ok with that.

14. If you drop out of the FTF challenge and want to come back in the future it will have to be discussed with the whole team and then a decision will be made.

15. There WILL be a 100pt a week requirement but for every point under 100 you will pay the prize pool 25 cents. For anyone who gets under 60 pts you will subtract 25pts from the next weeks weigh in. There will be a 10$ maximum so if you are under 60pts you will pay only 10$ regardless and lose the 25 pts on the next weigh in. If you are under 100 but over 60 you will only lose the money... no pts.

The ONLY time for this rule will you be asked to leave is if you do not pay the pot.
