| Lost 3.5lbs over the month....not what I was hoping for, but improvement all the same. Will push harder for the whole 10 in the new challenge.

Congrats to everyone for losing some.
I can't say the same I know I did some emotionnal eating ( a lot)during the last week + TOM is around. But thats OK a new new and a new challenge and I'm up to it.

Well, I only lost a couple of pounds over this past month. I weighed in at 163.2 this morning, when my goal was 156. At least I am still on the downward trend, so I'm not totally disappointed :). It was a lot of fun, I just wish I hadn't injured myself early on in the challenge, that might have helped :). Anyhow, I'll decide this weekend if I am ready to go for the one in May .....

Good morning everyone, I weighed 230 this morning! I am so happy! It was not the full ten, but I am very encouraged to lose - even another 6 in the next month. I know everyone else will do well. MANDERS777- Yes I will start a new thread right now. Dont be discopuraged if you didnt lose much, if you gained new habits or just lost a couple of pounds, it is all good. It will all take time and you dont have that much to lose so you wont lose as fast as me who has substantially more to lose. SO to all of you who signed up for this challenge and stuck it out to the end.
I am starting a new thread called - LOSE 10 POUNDS BY MAY 20TH, for all those interested in joining taking that challenge. It will be FUN. Julie

Personally, I'm not making my weight loss goal but I did finally realize how hard on myself I have been. I'm psyched up for May.

NIKKIG25- you are so right. I know that I have changed alot in the last month. My eating habits have improved so much and my exercise habits have got back on track. This has been a very good group challenge for me. I hope everyone else has had the same successes. Great Day! Julie

A walk in the rain sound relaxing. I love to do that in the summer. I am feeling well and today has been a great day so far. I got on the treadmill this morning and did some yoga too. It makes me feel very good. I am very optimistic that there will still be a weight loss even though it is tom for me too. Have a great day everyone. Julie

| To speed up weight loss just start doing a foot detox 2-3 times a week. It cleans out my lymph system and I'm always a pound or two lighter the next day. Just bought one to send to my daughter while they're on sale, best kind is at soakawaythepounds.com, feel so much better

Hi all, hope everyone's having a great day!
Its TOM for me (duh, stay off the scale!) so I'm not weighing in until Friday. Went for a 45 minute walk in the pouring rain last night - just needed to get out of the house. The dog didn't seem to mind *too* much - she shook water off a lot but there was still waggin!
Waiting out an uncomfortable roommate situation, and needed to escape/clear my head. That's the great thing about exercise, it can really help with stuff like that.

It sounds like we'er all doing pretty good! I'm happy for us. I would be very excited to do another 10 by may 20. My ultimate goal is to be down to fighting weight by that time. But not making it, well, I won't beat myself up. :)
I weighed in at 136 last night. I'm feeling pretty bloated right now (I gulped the water pretty big time after an abnormally long night at the gym, so I'm going with "I feel too good to weigh myself" feeling right now!)

Way to go. There is no need to beat yourself up, that doesnt do anyone any good. That is the way to just pick yourself up and dust off and get back on. You didnt let it get too out of control. Have a great day. Julie

Hi everybody. Happy Tuesday!
I got half my workout in this morning - 20 min of weights. I'll have to do the other half after work but it's supposed to be pouring rain so I may not walk.
Julie, good job telling that snack where to go!
I was at 147 in late March, early April. When I got on the scale earlier this week after several weeks of being "bad" it read 150. Booo! That'll teach me! Now it reads 149.
Who was it that said "don't confuse a setback with failure" ? Good quote.

MANDERS777 - Thank you, Yes I did make it through. I am glad I just came here and posted. It helped me to get past that bump. I played some basketball when I got off of work. It ended up being a pretty good day.
Good for you getting that walk in. I know it is can be hard to fit everything in.
I did not lose when I weighed this morning, but I think I am bloated. My wedding ring is tight and usually it is very loose.
So I am still at 231. LOL.

Did you make it through without the extra snack?
We walked for an hour and 15 minutes after work, which was great! I think it's the first time in weeks. I feel better.
The only problem is, by the time I get done with that it's 8 pm and I'm just now starting dinner. Gonna try to do some abs and then eat.

I know here I am again. I am actually trying to avoid that xtra snack this afternoon. I have a special k bar peaches and berries, calling my name in my desk drawer. Can I hold out until 4:30???? I am not hungry, just wanting to munch for no reason....

HI you guys! Sorry I have been gone for 50 years or so... went out of town for Easter and then just got off track (again) so my loss for this challenge will be nothing impressive.
Definitely down for another one though! I'm feeling somewhat energized about getting back into it. Especially now that it's almost nice outside.

Good Morning All, Everyone is doing so well. I think I will have about a 6 pound loss for this challenge total. We will see. I will let you know if I got that 1 more pound down or not. I forgot to weigh in on Friday and believe it or not I ignored the scale all weekend. It felt good not obsessing over the scale. I may be a bit bloated but I feel like I have lost something. I will weigh in the morning a report my losses or gains LOL.

10DOWN63- I am up for a new challenge, any suggestions? Maybe another 10 pounds down by May 20th? (Just a suggestion) My favorite race car driver will be at the Iowa speedway on May 20th and I am going to watch him WIN the race. Ha ha.

I weighed myself at 136 this morning! I think I was at 140 when I started this challenge, so I probably won't lose the full 10, but losing 4 is still awesome!

Hey all, Just wanted to check in. I only weigh every second Friday, so I never really have much to report most days. I have a big 9 pounds to lose before completing the challenge. I haven't weighed in over a week, so I don't know what I have lost recently, although I feel like I have lost some for sure. I don't weigh until Friday, which happens to be the 20th. I have to have a really great next 5 days.

well, Easter got to me. I haven't logged in my weight for this week yet, but I am real close to the same for the past 2 weeks, with no loss. I am having trouble with feeling hungry for the first time in months, and struggling with that. (Suppose it was that dark chocolate bunny that the Eastern rabbit left me? lol)
Only one more week to go! I don't think I am gonna make 10 pounds, but I am gonna try for 8, and I'm gonna go record my weight now and get back on track ..... *crosses fingers* .....

I have never been one to watch the scale and I will tell you it is stressing me out. Julie we will count blessing and the great stuff we are doing next month :) You are doing great keep posting :)
