Hi, I'm definately in again. I really think this challenge is helping me to stabilize my weight. Still 119lbs. I'm happy!!

My calorie range is 1430 - 1780 per day, burning at least 1840 cals per week.

This week I'll like to burn 2300 calories, that's 383cals. a day in exercise.

I'll also like to keep my food intake to 1650 calories maximum a day.

Had a "bad" weekend - I was feeling very poorly on Friday on the way home from work. Dizzy, nauseated, and tired. I didn't know if it was from being worn out, not enough water or a spike in blood sugar from the chocolate I ate - needless to say I just stayed in and rested and then didn't go to workout yesterday and that's unusual for me. But, I did feel 100% better on Saturday. I also had a Pampered Chef party so those calories are all sugar cookies and nuts. Not the healthiest of days by a long shot so today we are back on track! Still holding steady at 130 so I'm feeling pretty good about it. Today is supposed to be really nice here in Central Ohio (low 70's) so I am going to go for a run later this afternoon.

My goal is, once again, 1750 to 2100* calories to maintain, with one day of no tracking. (Re-evaluating, my new range will be 1950 to 2300)

3/20 - 2729 - Argh! Needed to edit this even higher because I forgot the energy bar I ate while my son was at soccer practice. Why him practicing made me need energy, I don't know.

My goal is to stay in my range - which is 1500-1850. I'd like to be close to 1650 as an average. I am still recovering from some kind of stomach virus from last week so I may not get to my range for a couple of days. My normal goal is to burn 4000 calories a week but I am going to aim for just 2000 this week until I feel 100 percent!

3-19-07: 1582 calories, not including 1 hour of strength training class (-600 calories) - feeling pretty pumped

3-20-07: 1299 calories today comes with a short story - Was in car drive thru line tonight really wanting a big burger with bacon and cheese. By the time I made it to the ordering box, I remembered my goals and ordered a "dry" chicken sandwich. Kudos to me, when I made it to the window to pay I asked to switch my side order of French Fries for a side salad! I feel so good about my decisions today, even though I am sipping on some Irish Mist, that's okay, calories included I am still at 1299!

3-21-07: 1586 Calories and expect to have a great strength training workout tonight to help meet my goal for the day! Revised post: Take another 600 off for good workout behavior!

3-22-07: 1416 Calories - none burned off. Just realized my "dates" have been one day off, all week, oops!

Jenn - you are absolutely right - that will probably happen so I just need to be patient. I have another month before I order my dirt and start hauling that and start digging and planting so that will help me get even more calories burned BUT then I'll be hungrier and want to eat more!! LOL. Hopefully I can help control that and reign it in. Last night I awoke at 1:45 STARVING - I had to eat, there was no way I could go back to sleep, so I had a banana and 2 snack packs of fig newton minis. SIGH. Well, at least it was somewhat healthy huh? Better than a bunch of sugar cookies.

OK - off to work today!

Kris - Thanks for the reality check. It's so easy to get obsessed with the numbers sometimes. I went back over my food logs for the past three months and discovered that, with the exception of when I was sick and a couple of over-the-top, ridiculous days, I've been eating pretty consistently between 2000 and 2300 calories. I think I'll set my new range to 1950-2300 and see how it goes.

Is there a particular reason why you decided to drop 5 more pounds? If it doesn't come off now, I'm wondering if you might have an easier time of it when the weather warms up and gardening season starts in again. It's certainly easier to get the burn in then!

I had to edit yesterday because I forgot to add my carrots and peppers I had for a snack. Today was a bit high but nothing outside of my normal maintenance range. I just can't seem to lose any more weight - I am stuck, stuck, stuck, stuck, stuck...I'll give it a few more weeks before I throw in the towel again and admit to myself that my body just wants to be 130 and not less.
