I have been doing really well. So far so good.

Down 6 pounds this week!! Working out in the morning makes such a huge difference in my weight loss. I also walk a mile or more at lunch 2-4 days a week.
Karen, it just seems like as hard as you workout, that you're not eating enough. I look at the Spark diet as a guideline, maybe you should try to up your calories a little bit more. Have you posted to Coach Dean? He always gives great suggestions.
Bodabing, HIGH 5 ON 80 BIG ONES!!! If you lost 80 pounds this past year, can you imagine how you'll feel when you loose another 80????

I weighed in at 172 this morning so I think I should change my goal weight for this challenge. I should be able to lose 10 lbs by Mother's Day, so 162 is what I'm aiming for now. Here's hoping!

Hi - Nif here. I'm a big time late comer, but have been tracking against holidays on my Sparkpage and love the idea of sharing the challenge. I'd love to be included...
My family and I will be heading to sunny Florida (from the frozen tundra of Michigan) ON Mother's day for a convention/vacation. I'm so totally game! I'll be weighing in on Mondays!

Aggghh where has my life gone. It has been a really hard 3 weeks for me and when I stepped on the scale yeasterday I gained 4#. I just need to stop stress eating and get my kids healthy again. I can do it.

Oh I wanted to say as of this Thurs I have been dieting a year and ive lost 80# im so proud of myself. And i know I can keep up the journey you all have been such a great steanth to me.

Hi ladies... room for an oldie but goodie.

I have so fallen off the weight loss wagon.. Work has been a ball of stress, I got sick, then BF was sick, and really, I make up all these excuses, but I just really haven't been into it!

I desperately want to be back into it, so I am hoping you all can help.

my weight this morning was 174.6. ugh ugh ugh!

CONGRATS to all of the LOSERS this week. I am still hovering within my same pound... I am not upset because this was not my "best" week in terms of exercise, but it means I have to get on the ball!

DENEISE - hi there to you! How's your little girl doing?

Some of you joked about increased metabolism because of bingeing. While I wouldn't recommend it, there's probably a little bit of validity to it... Our bodies are complicated, sophisticated machines!!!

I had a really good week. Alot of cardio and alot of water. I really think that water makes a huge difference. I am not really losing any inches, maybe that will come in time.

Wouldn't that be nice?? I'm sure I would blow up like a balloon.

I just did a 60 min treadmill workout, 4.5 miles. I'm beat. I was trying for 90 min but just couldn't do it. I weighed myself afterwards and I lost that 2 lbs. I'm takin it.

Hey everyone, I hope it's not too late to join. This sound like a pretty good challange. I would like to loose 7 lbs. and go ahead and reach my goal. Plus my DD's b-day is on May 12 and my goal was to reach 130 by then. I already lost all of my preggo weight so this is the icing on the cake.

Welcome to all the newbies! I kicked my own butt this week. I'm down 2 lbs. and lost 1". My eating was far from what it should have been, but daily cardio (tae bo, aerobic dance, walking or stationary bike) and strength exercises 3X made the difference. LOTS of water too.

Hi all--down 1.5!! But I have no idea how! I was dreading the scale today--I actually stepped on it twice to verify the results! I was binge eating all last week--huge ice cream sundaes with all the toppings, large meals,an open bag of m&m's on my desk......Plus due to bronchitis, I was only able to do half of my exercise! HMMMMM does occasional binge eating stimulate higher metabolism????? I don't know, but I am thrilled with the results! Back to "the plan" though this week--I don't want to risk gaining it all back!

Karen and Heather--I'm Western MA too! Glad we didn't get that snow!

I wish that were the case. I've been within in my calorie range, usually towards the higher end. My ratios are right on. Perhaps my body doesn't agree with the spark plan.

maybe that is the answer your body went to protect itself cause you do not eat enough
when that happen to me i have good meal at least 300 more calories and it seem to make me lose some weight, but the next day i go back to at lease 200 less calories , it see to get it all mix up and you lose. Hope this will help

Swalkere, I feel for you. I just stepped on the scale this morning and it says I'm up another 2.5 lbs. Jeez! I did a 5 mile bike ride and have been eating nothing but rabbit food. What's it gonna take?
