The best thing you could do is to search the Spark Teams for groups that share your interests. Many of the active groups run thier own challenges and there is so much support available there it's crazy good!

Look around in this forum (challenges) and see if there are any that strike your fancy, then post and see if you can join in on them.

Another way to meet folks and get some feed back is to visit people's Spark Pages and give them encouragement on their efforts. If you have your Spark Page set up, folks will come see who YOU are and you can make some wonderful friends that way :)

Deffinitely keep posting on the message boards :)

*hugs*

God Bless,

Hello all!

I joined here a few months ago and was doing well for a while. Well, then I slacked off and have been having trouble with motivation. So I thought I could really get some help here if I actually post and get to know some of you doing the same things as me. I am looking for a group that I can regularly communicate with to really be accoutable with. Since I am new to this, I don't know where I quite fit. I would be fine with starting a challenge of my own but there might be one going now that you all think might work for me.

I'd like some advice!

Here's a little about me:
Mom to 3 kiddos, youngest is just 3 months old. I am pretty fit but am trying to get really strong and lose the last 20 pounds to be where I want to be. I work part time and certainly have time constraints in my life. (don't we all!) I am a pretty emotional eater and have always struggled a little with body image issues. I am just under 5'8 and I currently weigh 150. I want to get to 130. I think my all time low since college was about 130-135. I feel really good at that weight. I am also breastfeeding but do not really have supply issues when dieting and exercising so no worries there. Things I have been doing since the baby was born: walking with the double baby jogger, yoga, belly dancing, ballet workout, and some tae bo style stuff.

Since really starting to focus on losing weight I have lost about 8 lbs but I have many more to go and I am getting impatient!

So if you have made it thru this long discourse - tell me what you think! Anyone want to join me? or do you know where I would really fit it?

Thanks!
jenny
