| I did not make my goal of 140 so I am going to set it again for Thanksgiving. I fooled around too much to make this come true.

Made some progress, but didn't meet my goal. Not much progress the last few weeks, but I am still noticing I'm loosing inches. May be a size 6 now, have tried on new clothes in a while. Taking up running in August has really made a difference. Going to try to reach my goal by the end of the year.

Better late than never - but I wish I better numbers to report. We were out of town for the Labor Day weekend and this time, vacation was not so good to me. thanks so much, jamie. sorry, pals. i got preoccupied with my shingles and forgot to weigh in. yes, we all lost something and as long as we are aware and going in the right direction, we'll get there-- some faster than others. congrats on the good behavior and good results.
06/27 -143 07/04 - 144 not such a great start. i can't even explain it. i've been on track all week. 7/6 142 that's more like it. 07/11 - 143 7/12 141 that's where i was may 10. 2 mo. ago. 07/18 - 141 still. not bad for a weekend away from home. still..... 07/25 - 140.5 after eating at friend's house. 7/31 140 (that's where i was a quarter century ago) 08/01 - 140 8/7 140 08/08 - 141 08/15 - 140 08/22 - 140 still for 3 weeks. 08/29 - 140 still all month!!!!!! 09/05-goal:134 (adjusted goal:138) 9/7 - 140 still. down 3 pounds for the challenge (all in july!). at least i didn't gain in august. this was my weight a quarter century ago. now to break through during the next challenge. (though i'm afraid the first few weeks , maintaining will be an accomplishment.

Well, didn't do so well here, but 1.1 lbs down is better than being up. I will get there. I am in for the next challenge. Tracking really seems to help me be accountable, even if it wasn't a great result this time around.

6/14/05 - 177 (digital scale at DR office) 8/1- 174 (home digital scale) 8/8 - Forgot so 8/9 - 172.2 Even after eating a lot of junk on weekend due to being gone. 8/11/05 - 169.2 didn't eat much yesterday since I got a cold. We will see what Monday brings. 8/15 - 168 8/22 - 168 8/29 - 167.2 9/5 - 170 GOAL MAYBE we can shoot for 165 9/6 - forgot to weigh yesterday morning. so Today was 167.

| Jamie, are you still planning to start the new 'trick or treat' challenge you mentioned earlier? I'm ready to get going on it, and I know several others who are also planning to join, but we haven't seen it yet?

I went up from last week for two reasons. THe biggest one being I was at the fair all day yesterday and ate nothing healthy and a whole lotta junk, and the second reason being it is TTOTM. But that's okay. I am happy I lost 8.5 pounds and I'm ready for the next challenge!

Hi everyone! It's Labor Day! I could hardly sleep last night waiting to wake up this morning and weigh-in! Crazy! Anyway, it is also my monthly measurement day, and the end of our challenge, so I was very excited as I've been doing the foodtracker and exercising for 43 days straight!
This challenge has been fun, and helped me to reach a weight I haven't seen in at least 3 years! I am excited about starting your new 'trick or treat' challenge, Jamie! Congratulations to everyone, we lost lots of pounds altogether!
Nimbus, don't feel bad you didn't reach your goal, but be proud that after being away and on vacation so much this summer you are still down 3 pounds from when you started this challenge! That's an accomplishment...and it could have easily been a gain of 3 pounds with all that vacationing! So, you are in the 60's instead of the 70's and now can start the new halloween challenge with us!!
Here are my final results for this challenge: 7/25 - 189 8/1-186 8/8-184 8/15 - 184 8/22 - 183 8/29 - 183.5 9/5 - 181 (183 was my goal)
On to Halloween and for me, the 170's! 195/181/135

Congratulations to all you wonderful people. Great Challenge, Jamie, and I am ashamed of my results. I guess I shouldn't have joined, being unable to weigh or post towards the end of August. However, I had to be honest with all of you and especially with myself ! Cannot believe that I seem to have forgotten everything I was learning. I made it!! Last week I was sure that I wouldn't, but the scale blessed me this morning. (I think that perimenopause gives you the same ups and downs as TTOM, but the difference is that you don't know when they are, ha ha.) I picked what I thought was a reasonable goal, and here it is Labor Day Weekend and I'm celebrating.
BTW, I faithfully round .5 or more up and .4 down, so I'm not concerned about the extra 6.4 ounces.

Jenn, CONGRATS!!!! It must feel really good.

Bigloser, that's good news about the trend. I was wondering how we were doing as a group. I know what you mean about being flat for a couple of weeks. Especially when you know you've been doing everything right. Why do we let the numbers on the scale get to us so?
My last weigh-in day for the challenge is tomorrow. I can't "weight" to see what it's going to read. With all the exercise I've gotten in this past week and staying within my calorie range, I'm sure to have lost this week.

| I loved this thread... i didn't participate but i liked reading each person's weekly progress. sometimes it was flat or up a little week to week but everyone's general trend was down. sometimes i get demoralized when i'm flat more than one week in a row, but this thread made me realize that it happens to everyone!

Great Job Sparkles. Doesn't it feel great to reach a goal. My weight has gone up a pound or two from my lowest but I know it will fall back in line here soon. You're doing awesome!!!!
The Halloween challenge will start Sept 5th and go to Halloween.
I'll post it now and we can end the labor day and start the halloween one.

Well, If you take the amount after your vacation and now, you have lost 10 LBS in 6 Weeks. I think that is pretty good. And you are right, Monday may bring that 155 number back.

Well, a 1 pound loss this week. I've been working hard during the week, but the last two weekends have been horrible. I need to get that back under control because I weighed 155.5 Friday morning, and now I'm back to 157. *sigh* Oh well. Keep on going.

Thanks, Jenn. I felt the way Pam felt: too bad I'm not going to make my goal. But things are just going slower for me now than they were at the beginning of the summer. I wonder if my aquatic therapy is making a difference.
