Hello,

I find that happens to me and I think that is what sets me up for a binge. Had a good day yesterday but was still full from Sunday. I can only do south beach for a week with the restricted carbs because it sets me up to Binge. I am just trying to get these sugar cravings out of my system. Try to have a good day and will check back later.

Blah.. not a good day. I think I'm not giving myself enough food... Then I get really hungry and binge. I'll up my WW points by one again and see if helps.

I'm sorry you didn't have a good day. I hope that south beach is working for you.

Congratulations on the loss!!!!
My day was bad, could plan all I want but I have got to get the will power back. I ate so much junk and sugar that I felt sick. I ate 2 pieces of cake and the a whole bag of malted milk balls- UGH!!!
Started on south beach today so I can get these cravings for sugar under control.
Will check back this evening.

Evenings are tough for me too. But it looks like you’re thinking along the right lines… you’re planning ahead for an occasion and you know where need to improve. I hope the rest of your day went well.

I lost a pound this week, which brings me to a grand total of 40 pounds lost! Woo hoo! The end of my day yesterday was much better than the beginning… I stuck with my plan. Knowing that I was weighing in this morning helped me stay on track the rest of the day.

I was wondering how you were doing? Your meal plans look good and you seem to have stayed on track. Good planning also on today-
I have not been doing good on my eating but have started today and am planning it good. I am having a bday dinner for my granma, she will be 85 Wed. We are having wheat spaghetti and I made a cake for her and the rest of the family. I made me a bowl of SFFF pudding so I will have something. I know that I have got to get back on track, my clothes are getting tight. I have the worst time in the evening anf just need to focus on keeping myself busy.
Will check back in tonight and hope your day is good.

I just figured out that I had 14 points this morning. If I hadn’t counted them I would have given up on the day, but the damage can be managed. I’m pretty full now, which means I can have a 5 point lunch later this afternoon, skip my snack, and have a slice of my home made 6 point veggie pizza for dinner. That’s definitely enough food for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow I weigh in... I'm hoping to be down a pound. But, I’m thinking I won’t make my goal of 135 for Easter. In time I’ll get there. Slow and steady!

Sorry I’ve been MIA the past few days. I’ve been busy, but the days have gone well. Expect for this morning. Blah… I’ll have to count up my points and see where I am. I hope I didn’t do too much damage. I’m actually going let my 28 days be non consecutive.

Hello

Good Job and congratulations on a good day!!! Willpower is our new word.

I did good, struggled alitle but fought the desire just to eat out of boredom and stress.

THe weekend is coming so we have to be strong. Ok- we are 1 day down and only 27 more to go

That seems to be the worst time for me. I can hold it together all day and then blow it in the evening. Willpower is the word!!! We can do this!!! It is just a mental thing so we have to rewire our brain.

I’m glad you had a good B-day.

I had another off day yesterday. I did fine all day and then went nuts in the evening. Willpower is the word of the day. I’ll check in after dinner. Maybe that will help me stay in control this evening.

weel have to admit the worst eating day in a ong time- I actually feel sick from it but did enjoy it and going to start fresh and clean tommorrow. I did enjoy my bdy-lots of cake, cookies, fried foods, all the stuff that I amnot suppose to eat. I have 6 days until my official weigh in so hopefully if I work hard I can undo this damage. I am actually scared to step on the scale so know that I need to work hard the next week.
At least I can say i enjoyed my bday and it only comes once a year.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!!!

That is the way I run, do a few minutes and then walk. I find that way I am not so exhausted from it then. If you are running every day that is great I find that it wears on my body to hard.

Happy Birthday!! And congratulations on the weight loss!!

I'm starting fresh today too. I know today I'll be on track.

JODIHOFFMAN-- thanks for the running advice. I acutally run 3 miles, then walk for 5 min. and then run another mile. This week end I'll try running all 4 miles without stopping.

I overeat last night again but am not beating myself up. I ate 2 high fiber bars last night and oh boy is the fiber working!!!!
Today is my birthday and I am starting fresh, weighed this morning am down a few pounds so need to keep focused. I am eating out twice today but am planning on making healthy choices. I know I feel better when I eat better and feel that everything else is under control.
Today starts Lent and I am trying to be more aware of this time and what it means.

I know it is hard. Really hard. Don't feel bad if you have an off day. I am trying DAILY to be good, but I tend to over eat when I run. If you run 3-4 a day, slow or not, you are already on your way. Push yourself 1 day a week to add one mile (like a saturday) then, one more the next saturday. And before you know it...you are there. Do a 1/2 (if you haven't already) then see how rewarding that is! I promise it's worth it.

I am sorry Jrdeben that your day was not good- it sucks I know but remember tommorrow is a new start. I did not do so well either, had 2 big big pieces of cake, it is gone now so that is good. I am going to try to do good tommorow but it is my bday so I am sure my husband and kids will want cake-UGH!!! just need to control myself.

I am sorry that you threw up the ice cream, I know that sometimes when I have eaten so much I have wanted to and I dont like to admit this but have used laxatives to try and rid myself of the food. Sick know

I am doing the half marathon in VA Beach VA. I have done 4 since last year and if I did not have such a bad binge problem I would be in much better shape. I amnot fast at all,my pace is 12-13:00mn mile but I figure my heartrate is upthe whole time so I am getting a workout.

Take care and try to have a good evening. Remember we are human and slip up just get back at it tommorrow.

ugh. not a good day

It was going well until I decided to have some ice cream. I had a few points left and figured that I could afford it. Then I just couldn’t stop myself. I kept serving myself more. I rarely admit this… I threw it up.

I’m done eating for today, but it looks like today won’t be day 5. Tomorrow will be a fresh day.

BTW I’m impressed with how much you run. I run 3-4 miles a day (very slowly). I’ve sort of always had a dream of running a marathon, but I wouldn’t even know how to begin training. When are you plan to run the half marathon?

Good job jrdeben in not binging due to emotional stresses. I am trying to journal to and that seems to help. I felt good about not binging last night. Even though the cake size was bigger than it should have been, it did not lead to an overall eating frenzy. Usually I get a taste of that sugar and it just seems to drive me to want more.
I am training for a 1/2 marathon so that is why I did 8 miles, I am slow and not very fast but my goal is to finish.
Got up this morning and did some strength training. Hope everyone has a great day!!!

8 miles, wow! Good job with the cake. It's important to be able to let yourself have some own and then, in moderation of course.

An ex of mine got in touch with me yesterday... it didn't go so well. When something like that happens it always makes me emotional and want to binge. But, this time I had the motivation of this challenge. I had done so well all day and I wanted to be able to count it.

Hello,

Hope everyone had a good day. I feel that I have made an accomplishment today. My kids made a cake yesterday and I allowed myself a piece tonight, it was a big piece and it tasted good. The accomplishment is that I did not binge and I dont have the urge to. What a great feeling!!!! I am realizng that I binge to soothe myself and cope with feelings such as loneliness, anger. I ma trying to stop and realize when I eat and why I am eating. I ran 8 miles today so I figure the cake was a payoff and might keep me from binging. Maybe if I take away the power of the food it wont be so bad.

Good Job on the weight loss!!! I weigh in on Wednesday, my bday, I really dont expect a loss with all the binging I have done but if I can just stop that it would be like releasing the demon.

Hope to make the rest of the evening with no food.

I'm happy to hear everyone is doing well.

I'm down a pound this week! Yesterday I struggle getting myself to exercise, but I did it because I was doing so well with eating I wanted to be able to count it as one of my days. I only did 30 min... I figured it was better than nothing.

So far this morning I have jump rope for 30 minutes and did twenty minutes of core exercises. I am also feeling very positive about this challenge and this week. I wish you all good luck and we shall succeed!
