I'M DOWN ANOTHER 2.5 POUNDS. I HAVE 1.5 POUNDS TO LOOSE FOR MY 10%. THIS HAS TAKEN LONGER THAN I EXPECTED, BUT IS WELL WORTH IT. I GOT TO GO BUY SMALLER SIZE PANTS YESTERDAY. HOPE EVERYONE IS STILL TRYING TO REACH THIS GOAL!!!

JUST FOUND OUT I AM GOING ON A TRIP IN THE END OF MAY. I BETTER GET MOVING, WANT TO LOOSE 10 POUNDS BY THEN. THAT'S 2 PER WEEK. GOTTA GET READY FOR THAT DREADED SWIMSUIT.

Now that Spring break is over and my family is back into their normal routine, I am going to get back into my excercise routine. I finally broke my 170 mark, but only to 169, 4 more pounds for my 10% and 19 more for my goal.

GREAT TO HEAR FROM YOU CALEEE. I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING. I AM STARTING A NEW BUSINESS & FINDING IT HARD TO FIND THE TIME TO EXCERCISE. I HAVE ALSO REALIZE THAT SINCE I STOPPED MY DAILY ROUTINE, I AM FEELING MORE TIRED THAN I WAS WHEN I EXCERSED REGULARLY. I STARTED UP AGAIN 2 DAYS AGO, I DONT WANT TO GO BACKWARDS. I HAVE 5 MORE POUNDS TO GO BEFORE MY 10%.

I have reached my goal - I weighed in today at 224.8 lbs! Down 25 lbs since 1/16/07 - my first day at Spark People. Now my next goal is 25 lbs more to 200lbs and then breaking the 200 mark.

I've increased my exercise routine - 4 days minimum of cardio for 40 min strength training 3 times a week for 35 min. I only have 3 lbs to go for the 10% challenge - I"m psyched now to get there!! Keep up the great work everyone!

GREAT JOB MAGMOM
I HAVE LOST 12 POUNDS & HAVE 6 MORE TO GO FOR MY 10%. I AM GOING TO JOIN YOUR DEADLINE OF MARCH 31ST. THAT'S A LITTLE MORE THAT A POUND PER WEEK, BUT I KNOW I CAN DO IT AS LONG AS I CONTINUE TO WORK OUT.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOME POST FROM THER OTHER PEOPLE ON THIS CHALLENGE.

I'm at 20 lbs now - 5 to go for my 10% goal. I gave myself until MArch 31 to get there. I'm sure I'll make it. I'm tracking my food and exercise and staying within my calorie range eating whole foods.
I just got back from the gym - I did 2.75 miles in 43 minutes on the treadmill at 2.5 % incline for 430 calories burned!

I AM GOING TO TAKE YOUR ADVICE TO HEATHER. I WASN'T THINKING OF A SHORT(ENOUGH) TERM GOAL. I HAD MY 18 POUNDS IN MY HEAD AND WAS GETTING DISCOURAGED AT THAT OUTLOOK. I THINK 1 POUND PER WEEK IS A GOOD WAY TO START & IF I LOOSE MORE IN THE MEAN TIME, YEAH FOR ME. THANKS

You should give yourself a time limit - goals should be timely - so figure out if you do 1 lb a week - how many weeks to get to your 10 % goal and put that in your medium goal - so you can see it and believe it!!

WELL I'M HALF WAY TO MY 10%. I'VE SLACKED OFF SO IT'S TIME TO GET BACK ON TRACK. 9 MORE POUNDS TO GO FOR 10%, BUT 21 TO GO FOR MY GOAL. ONE STEP AT A TIME. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

I'm joining in here as I set this as my first goal - 10% as recommended here at spark. My goal date is March 31. I'm down 13.5 toward my needed 25 lb loss for 10%. Everyone should start here!

It's probably going to take me awhile to meet since I don't really have a workout plan right now. But if I keep to calorie counting I'll be fine."

Well I'm at 177-179 now. Slow progress but I'm doing it.

Had a bad weekend with Superbowl & my husbands birthday. Got to get back on track. Lost 1 pound since last time. Any great ideas for cardio with a bad knee? Does anyone have Tony Little's Gazelle? If so, do you like it?

Down 3 more pounds! Haven't weighed myself in 12 days. (My husband wants to take away the scale so I promised him I would wait 2 weeks. I almost made it. I gave in today and I am pleasantly surprised.

Well when I weighed the other I was at 224. Went up a couple of pounds. I haven't lost any weight yet. Haven't given up either. One day, one meal at a time.

Hello everyone,

this is just the challenge that I was looking for. I am going to the Bahamas in March and I really want to kick myself into motivation so losing 10% by then would be awesome.

SW (on challege): 181
10% 18.1 lbs
GW: 163 (by march 20th)

that seems like a lot but I am going to try my hardest to get NEAR my 10% at least before we go on vacation!

I haven't lost anymore weight since last post, yuck!!
I have started more cardio, hard to do in the winter with no excercise equipment. It's all about getting healthier and making a life change that I can keep up. Hopefully I can report on weight loss next post.
