Good Work. I became a dropout on this challenge and credit those of you who kept it up.
I seem to have a roadblock with tracking lately, and just need to become more disciplined.
Good job!

Murano, you go! that's great...and isn't it fun to be able to take your ticker down a little bit each week? I hope you don't mind my saying this, but for me my changes in diet and nutrition are not "dieting". I'm making changes that I will be able to stick with for the rest of my life. In my thinking a diet is a short term change that will go a way after time. For me to do that would be to set myself up to fail. I havent' cut any sepcific foods out totally, I just don't eat the high calorie ones that I enjoy as much or as often as I used to.

Mary, I'm right there with you. As a kid I could and did eat anything and everything I wanted. I had 3 baby's in my early 20's and went back to "normal" weight within a few weeks of each birth. Normal then was between 100-105 lbs. In my 30's I divorced my obsessive and controlling husband, lost the constant adrenilyne rush I'd lived with for all those years, remarried, got happy, and got fat! I'll never be 105 again, but it sure is nice not being 200 anymore!

Kashmir you are doing a super job. I can't say the same for myself. I didn't track calories second half of yesterday.
We had lasagna, and I had one piece and a small piece of a vegetarian version that seemed way more caloric than the other, also a big roll with butter, lettuce w/o dressing, and then they "forced" me to have a big piece of cake. So it could have been worse and it certainly could have been better.
There was a time that I had to force myself to eat, was never hungry and could not gain weight. Something happened to me after I had DD close to age 40 and since then everything just always looks so good. I did not develop good eating habits when young because I could eat anything. There has to be a hormone component to all this, because I am not the same person anymore when it comes to appetite. Now I think about food way too much.

Day One. 1230 calories Day two. 1258 calories Day three. 1296 calories Day four. 1247 calories
I was afraid I was going to blow it today with a Peanut Butter cookie and some chocolate at the office. I pulled it through, as long as I stay out of the cashews tonight. Tomorrow I may not be able to pull it off, it is our company Holiday Luncheon.
How did you do at the Banquet, Mary?

Good work, Kashmir.
I was doing really well yesterday, but then started snacking at night. Working at it today again, but have a dinner banquet at work tonight--hope it is Turkey.

I was a bit worried about today as we had Goodies in the kitchen at work. I had one cracker with cheese and one mint and drank water instead of eating the other treats.

Yay! Glad to have you with me on this Challenge. It really is a challenge for me with all the holiday foods starting to flow into my office. This will give me some more incentive to leave them for everyone else this year.
Thanks for joining me!

My weight loss is coming in fits and starts again, and in comparing my past months losses with calories eaten. September was my best month with 8 lbs lost. It was also the month that I was most consistent with sticking between 1200-1300 calories consumed a day. So, starting tomorrow I'm back on the 1200-1300 a day for the week challenge. If anyone cares to join me, all you need to do is post your calories consumed for the day each day. This challenge runs from Sunday to Saturday night. Now, I need to go back and review my daily menus from September!
