I think that is a great idea! My pledge is to weigh 115-120 lbs by March. I will do this by staying busy/active, and eating more veggies. I will be moving accross the state starting Weds but when I get to my new home there will be a lot of oportunities for activity.

1) have steamed veggies with at least one meal
2) hot soup or tea at night for a snack
3) a hearty and high-fiber breakfast
4) lots of water
5) walk or exercise 6 days a week

Hi! I started a thread called "Who will join me in making a pledge to exercise???" in April of this year. And I kept every single exercise pledge that I made. Making pledges has helped me to be consistent with exercising. It's good to be accountable with others! If you are having trouble with eating healthy, staying within your calorie limit, exercising or anything else...you can make pledges to help you accomplish what you need to do...make the pledge for a day or a week or a month...or even a year...that's up to you. Don't make it too hard on yourself, though...make it DO-ABLE!!
I made pledges on my exercise pledge thread to not eat any sweets for the rest of the month or for all of next year and to have 2000 calories or less a day for the rest of the month and all of next year...I had to do something, because I have been overdoing it on the sweets and calories, too!!!
