| final weigh in at 121.4 this morning... its no where near 10 but its still better than nothing. i 'll have to get my butt in gear and do better in december! congrats to everyone who completed the challenge.

| I did go up a few pounds while i was home, but it was more from sleeping all day than eating too much. but already the scale is starting to drop...very very slowly. i was at 121.4 this morning. tomorrows the last day of the challenge, i'm definately not down 10, but i am down something!

| sorry...i was home for the week, even though i had my computer, i didn't have any internet hook-ups. i did pretty good for the week with out tracking my calories. i guess we'll see how i weigh on a littler later today.

| chrisandheather, are you strength training? if you train the large muscle groups to failure at least two to three times per week, you will build more muscle and that will help to speed up your metabolism....also drink ice cold water, shake up your excercise and diet

| hi, sorry its been awhile...i got the flu...i lost seven pounds with it though, and most of it has seemed to stay off....not much excercise wise, as i feel kinda weak, but did walk today....was way under on calories for two days(less than 200 tues, and 600 weds) and today, was at 1300....i just dont feel like eating...right now weight is 155....hope that i keep going down....happy thanksgiving.

| I know weight fluctuates, but it does get very frustrating! In one of the many books I've read on this diet or that, it said to weigh yourself daily and take the average of all of them to be your true weight-to much work for me-I bet we all wish there was just a magic pill to take and POOF, we're thin and healthy-I'd buy stock! I have gained 1.5 pounds and just getting back in to logging and exercising. Every time I go to my kidney doc he depresses me and i dont do well for a week or so, than I get back on track. Keep up the good work, dont let the scale get you down, I swear, they have a mind of their own.

Babbles its sooo frustrating, i wanted to see how my weight would jump during the week so i weighed myself almost everyday. and everyday it seemed to jump around so i think i might just go somewhere in between from now on. the only weight i really trust is when i weigh in on the 5th of every month and compare it with the months before.

| I'm down to 119.8 this morning, i really hope my weight will stop jumping around and level out so that i can be a little closer to my goals. looks like i'll be working out a lot when i get home. maybe i'll check out the gym and the tech school i'm transfering to. hope everyone is closer to their goals than i am!

Hi,
I'm sorry for not posting - I've had some health issues and also some Internet connection problems... However, I hope I'm back for good now, and I've lost 7.5 pounds since beginning of the challenge (I started at 207 and now I'm at 199.5 - YAY, finally out of 200s!) So I've got 2.5 to lose before the end of November, I hope I can do it!
Congratulations to everyone that has lost weight meanwhile!

I don't have a tv in my dorm room and i never know when the nascar races are on. i'm kind of curious to know where Matt kenseth is placed right now, but i dont' know anyone up here who keeps up with the races. i keep forgetting to look it up. I'm having difficulty reaching my goal too, i don't even want to llok at how far i am from my goal. i know i should just to get my butt back in gear, but maybe when i'm done writing my paper and studing for my exams that i have to take before i can go home for thanksgiving.

| i still need to lose four and boy will it be tough...first activity is kinda limited, thanks to a demanding physical therpaist, and then this is a huge sports weekend, first we had the go bucks party complete with coneys ( i had one instead of my usual three) then tomorrow is the last race of the nascar season which means another party....thank god i have some willpower and a fruit and veggie platter for me....

| Good luck! i gained a pound back from when i was sick last weekend, and now i can't seem to get back on track. i'm hoping its down on monday when i weigh in. At least today i'm low on calories, but thats what happens when you give in to the college drinking.

| Still here, been down and out for a week now, keep trying to get enough energy to get back on track. My kidney doc just added iron pills to my tons of others, so maybe it'll give me a boost. I know I've gained back some of what I lost, not exercising, etc., and what to start losing again. Ya'll keep up the good work!

| where did everyone go? it seems our group has disappeared! i haven't been tracking my cals but i already know i'm over my range. today i didn't do much cardio, but i did take a few 5 minute walks that also included going up/down 3 flights of starirs, so hopefully i will come out even when i weigh in on monday.

| i work for honda of america ( i build accords) and its all a part of the job....i actually log about 3000-5000 steps every two hours in there (depending on which job process i am on). Its a very physcially demanding job...i also try to walk about 2 to 3 miles a day for cardio since most other excercises are out for me right now due to a car accident related back and neck injury.

I didnt track today, still not eating much, got in 9 on the water, went to the mall and walked (window shopped basically) for a few hours-didnt stop at many stores, 100 crunches. No strength today, may try tomorrow. Wow, how do you get so many steps in everyday! That's amazing. Mandy and I have been doing challenges up until I got sick-hope to get back to it soon. | i dont know if i can drop ten by months end, but this challenge has helped me out...i have dropped three or so in the past couple of weeks, so thats all good for me, hope it keeps going, my challenges for me is to keep doing what i am doing, upper body strength three days, lower body the other three, plus yoga, walking,and bike, plus eating more veggies and fruits, and sleeping....the water is a snap since i love it anyways

Hi All! Congrats on the loss! I lost 1 this week, surprised I lost any. I've been pretty sick and havent been able to do much of anything, no cardio, just barely able to take care of kids and a few household chores, but hope to get back on track in a few days. I'm not pushing to hard, dont wont to get worse-seems like every time I get going, I get sick and fall back-as long as I dont gain right now I'll be happy. Anyways-any challenge ideas? I'll continue to try something, even if I have to modify somehow! Have a great day!

| whoo hoo, i am on track...been doing some very light strength training, since i cant do much with my back injury, and logged 17921 steps on my pedometer today....and i had nine fruits and veggies, and lots of water....whoo hoo... and i lost two pounds over the week, which puts me back at starting weight of 157...

| I didn't track calories all weekend, but i haven't been feeling the greatest, so i know i've been low on calories and water. i haven't wanted to move. Saturday i did some shopping wiht my best friend and helped my mom carry things down from the attic, so my cardio hasn't been too horribly bad. tomorrow i start tracking again...at least until i go home for thanksgiving again.

| Ok there is no way I will be doing the 3 miles tomorrow. I did 4 miles this morning for my cardio and then Richard and I went down to the strip to spend the day together and I think I must have walked another 5 or so. We had fun, but my quads hurt so bad! I am taking tomorrow as a rest day.
