Thank you ladies for you comments. I do hope I get on my feet soon.

I haven't been doing great on stop eating 3 to 4. I stop eating before 1 to 2 hours before bed and I do have to blame this on my hubby. He said that two days in a row eating with him is not going to kill me. I did felt sorry, he works so hard.
My body is use to eat early that when I do eat late I don't feel so great. Well, he's not here and won't be back for 2 weeks.

Well, Good Night ladies and have a wonderfull weekend.

Hey guys,

I know I have been totally MIA but I got a temp job as a leasaing agent out here and had to do the class yesterday for 12 hours and then started at a property today. My eating has been horrendous due to the sudden change in schedule and today i just said to hell with it. I got a lot going on and think I'm probably emotionally eating but I'm gonna start fresh tomorrow. So that means I have absolutely no stats to post for the past 2 days other than I slacked off and am going to kick my own butt for it tomorrow.

Lu, I'm so sorry to hear about your foot. That really sucks! I haven't been able to read the posts cause my whole routine has been thrown off but I plan on trying to catch up over the weekend.

Ok ladies, I'm about to get ready for bed and go back to work tomorrow :-)

So fascinating to hear where everyone is from and living now! I'm a transplanted Canadian, born and raised in Manitoba, now living in Utah.

What healthy habits have I incorporated into my life these last two weeks? I'm doing a lot better on consistency (thanks to the accountability) and I'm a lot more aware of my food intake and calories.

For Friday:
1. Stretch: 10 minutes
2. Cardio: 60 minutes on the bike
3. Strength: 4 sets of crunches
4. Water: 10 glasses
5. No soda or alcohol
6. I had breakfast and 3 other meals
7. I stopped eating 3.5 hours before bed
8. I'm tracking my progress, meagre as it is . . .

Lu, I can not believe that! I am so sorry. You must be so discouraged. We will pray for a quick recovery and maybe a driver so you can rest your foot.

1. Pilates
2. walked 35 minutes
3. 20 Pilates
4. Water, 8+ C
5.No soda nor alcohol
6. Breakfast ate 2 lowfat nutri grain toaster waffles with fresh strawberries and 2T lite cool whip. So good, low cal, and a nice change from Heart Smart cereal.
7. 3 meals, 2 snacks, under calories. stopped eating 4 hours B4 bed.
8. charted with Sparks

I am from CA. I moved to Dallas, TX in 96 then to MI in 99 then back to TX in 00, then back to MI in 01, then home to CA in 04 and finally made my way back to TX. This time in Fort Worth area. TX is such a great place to raise a family. I also "lived" in Brazil for 2 months.

Exercising is something that this challenge has pushed me to commit to. I feel so much better. Last night when I was finished running the stairs, I had the energy to clean my house before bed. I also feel good that I am setting a good example for my boys. They do Pilates to the best of their ability with me and look forward to it. They walk with me and even run the stairs with me. This is especially important to me with the rise of childhood obesity. If I teach them a healthy lifestyle now, it will become a part of them as they grow. I want my kids to live long healthy lives with every advantage I can give them. Thanks again to Lu and everyone here.

One last thing I wanted to mention, I have read that many of you struggle with drinking water. I find that when I get a 32oz glass and drink with a straw, I drink twice as much water. Maybe that will help someone.

OMG Lu! I'm just glad to hear it's not broken. Looks like a lot of upper body weights for you. Regardless of the pain, everything happens for a reason. Maybe someone is MAKING you rest, as you are ALWAYS doing something. Take advantage of it!

Ladies my day has been painfull.

This morning around 5:30 a.m. I am walking down stairs(I still have on my long pj and socks) and before I know it. I fell down 3 steps. I twist my ankle and it hurted like you know what. So I just got up and kept walking but with little pain. Around 2 hours later the phone rings and my friend calls me to see how I am doing. I sat down for 15 minutes and when I got up to walk. I was in terrible pain. I had a doctors appointment for birth control pills. Ending up having x-rays and everything. The bad part was I had to drive myself to the doctors. And I have a stick shift. I was breathing like if I was about to give birth from the pain that I had when I had to put my feel on the clutch.

Well to end the story I have clutches to walk with. I have to rest my foot for a week. "Good Luck with that". I can rest up to Sunday but then I have to use my car. I was so so upset for being hurt. That puts me back on my exercise. Urrggh!!

I am also taking oxycodone. The guy from the pharmacy asked if I was driving and I had to lie. As soon as I got to the car I had to pop 2 pills.

I'm icing my foot now. So I am hoping I get better each day.

Oh, I forgot who was going to run tomorrow. Well you know who you are. GOOD LUCK!!!! I wish, I was there with you.

Here's another method of showing your hard work without the scale. Go to http://www.linear-software.com/online.html and click on calculators at the top of the page. Then click on "Calculate your body fat percentage." Scroll down to the women's section and use the "tape measurement boxes." For #1, you will need to input your age and weight. For #2, go over to the tape measure section and input height, neck, waist, and hips in inches. Click on calculate. Number 3 shows your body fat %.

Needless to say, it's definitely a motivator. I cannot believe the amount of body fat I am carrying. I should be shot! But hey, I'm working on it! I'll tell you my numbers if you tell me yours LOL.
