This is what I find so tough....staying motivated!!
I really just try to focus on what it is I want - the end result
~ I try to keep pics of what I want to look like, flat tummy, nice legs, etc and when I don't really feel like working out or having a burger I just remember, I'm not going to look like that if I don't go to the gym, walk, run, bike ride or eat that burger. ~ I have pictures of clothes I would love to wear (in the smaller sizes), bathing suits, skirts, dresses etc. ~ Have someone to workout with you. I find that way I'm more motivated to go. Try to make it someone that doesn't live around you and that will have to meet you there. That way you have a committment to make it there for your friend. ~ Read peoples success stories. It really does help ~ Don't weight/measure yourself all the time. I was really bad for this in the beginning. I would expect immediate results (which don't happen) and as soon as I finished a workout...I'd get on the scale. Of course I would then get depressed because I wasn't noticing any results. ~ Don't eat infront of the T.V. I don't know if you do this but I found that I would eat in front of the T.V and it sort of became a habit. Whenever I was in front of the T.V I would eat (snacks, etc) So when I got rid of eating in front of the T.V I found I didn't need to snack so much.
It sounds so much easier than it actaully is but really, you just have to try and be honest with yourself. Do you want to loose the weight? Then there are things that YOU need to do to get rid of it. When you cheat you aren't cheating anyone but yourself! :)
