Thanks, great advice. I will be trying it! If I tend to crave sugar, is it better for me to have a small treat in the afternoon, when I seem to have more control....or should I be waiting until I am craving the sugar? Once I'm craving it, I tend to almost always over due it at that point.

If you have a headache, water is best-all that sugar won't help, so keep that in mind next time, and it may help you avoid the suagr and rehydrate yourself. You say you can't keep sweets out because of the kids, but surely you don't want them to fill up on sugary snacks, when you know it's not healthy for you? So why not only keep healthy snacks in the house, or keep sugary foods in a locked cupboard that you tell yourself you will only open to give food to your kids, that way, you have to actively do something and go into the forbidden cupboard to get an unhealthy snack.
also, don't restrict them completely0if you crave sugary foods, include some in your calorie intake, but divide them into sensible portions when you get them home, so when you want something, it is already portioned out and you won't consume a whole pack.
Hope something in there is of help!

I've been doing great, until last night. I had a headache and was exhausted and half asleep. I ended up over eating (a lot) for dinner, had chocolate milk, and some brownie bites. OUCH!

I'm not beating myself up over it, but I do this often. And I want to break it!

I felt in a daze and unable to control what I put in my mouth. Sometimes I even sleep eat. I'll wake up in the middle of the night and then barely remember that I ate the whole batch of brownies.

I try not to keep any sweets in the house, but I have 2 kids so keeping them completely out is impossible.

Help!
