just got a new scale last week which showed me at 67.3 kg last Tue. ;) today at my official weigh in i'm at 66.6 kg yey

SW: 148.81 lbs (67.5 kg)
CW: 146.81 lbs (66.6 kg)
GW: 136.69 -130 lbs (62-59 kg)

Hi Folks, I have had a good few days. My calories are a bit high today, 1600, but I did get exercising in, so I still feel positive.

Well, my daily posting is not going very well. I am staying w/in my calorie range most days but need to do more cooking & preparing food at home. I got in a yoga show when I first got up this morning AND walked 4 miles back from town {two REALLY steep hills, good workout!} so I feel really good. I always seem to fit in a lot on weekends, for activity, but need to be more disciplined on weekdays. I bring sneakers to work but feel "funny" walking around the parking lots on my lunch hour. I don't even do it if I'm wearing a skirt or dress because I think it looks so silly. I've brought pants on some of those days but just couldn't seem to talk myself into changing & changing back so I didn't go out at all. I make sure I walk when I get home if I don't at work, but still...I just don't feel as successful when I don't use some of the 'free time'.
Hope everyone's doing well! The humidity has finally let up here so outdoor stuff is more pleasant.

Hi MrsAkins2005: Where did your husband go on a ship? What sort of surgery do you need to have if you don't mind my asking (you mentioned on s-page). That's good to get your water in each day and sticking with your calories. I'm doing pretty good right now and I am pretty certain I will reach my end of summer goal and be maintaining at that point. That's the plan anyway. Take care.

Got in my calories and water......couldn't get to workout though. Hubby went out on ship today...so didn't feel like going anywhere to much.

Gapeach79: I know how it feels to lose motivation regarding exercise. I have just come through that point and thankfully I've reached the other side...for now. What I found was to keep doing at least something whether is was 10 minutes of walking, or 5 minutes of stretching and then really telling myself that I should be proud of me because at least I was moving! I seemed to make it through the drought and now I am actually looking forward to exercise. I bought an exercise ball today at WalMart, so as long as I don't break my neck on the silly thing, I'll post again.

My weigh in today sees me down 2 more pounds!!! Very promising.

Uggg!!! I need some serious motivation. I am just not in the mood to work out. And, on top of that, I am constantly thinking about food. I wish there was some magical way to just turn off that part of my brain.

I did go to the gym yesterday, but only did 20 minutes of cardio (burned 175 calories). I guess that is better than nothing. For more of a push, I hung a pair of shorts on my mirror in my bedroom. I could wear them this time last year but now I can barely get them over my knees...getting them to cover my behind is not even remotely possible. So, my ultimate goal is to be able to wear them again. I figure if I have to look at them everyday then I might actually go to the gym and stop eating so much.

I hardly slept last night and can hardly keep my eyes open, but I have to kep telling myself that I MUST go to the gym today!!

Why can't I eat anything I want and not gain an ounce like I used to be able to do? I guess it's all just catching up to me as i get older.

I forgot to post yesterday! I will review yesterday's stats and HOPEFULLY pop back in before retiring w/tonight's info for today.
My calories for 7/17 were 1,219, a little low so most of my nutrients were under where they should've been also. I was sore from my whole body weight workout on Sunday but I did get in some stretches and started working on my jumproping again [trying to build up to 10 minutes] as well as a short walk. [thought i might jog or make it a long one but this heat & humidity is just too much] I did post on some boards yesterday, encouraging here & there.

Hi Everyone....well if my scale doesn't play tricks with me I've lost 3 lbs in the past couple of weeks!!! I want to wait 2 more days to see if the scale stays there, then I'll post it. See you later folks.

I am just starting. Right now, I am at 143 lbs. My goal is to keep within my caloric range of 1550 and do 30 minutes of cardio with some weight training.

ALMOST forgot to report back!
Weighing in at 135 {tried to correct ticker-tape at bottom of post but was unsucessful...anyone know how to back up the lightning strike??}
Calories: 1416 [right on track]
Exercise: 1 hour calisthenics [SP weights workouts]
water & nutrients were all good for today except a little low on fiber

Feel good today even though weather is VERY hot & humid {90 w/90% humidity!YUCK}.

I'm glad to see some late arrivals, too. I will jump in with the goal of getting to 125 by the last day of summer, Sept 22. I am using the food tracking page so I will pop in at the end of the day w/weight and details.

I hope that I am not too late to join in as well. I would love to have some added motivation to get these items incorporated into my daily lifestyle. Lord knows I need something changed in my current eating habits! (Smiling now.....) I will begin posting my totals, etc. tomorrow if that is all right with everyone? Thanks - D

If it's okay I would like to get in on this challenge, sounds like something I can work towards.
So my goals are:

1) stay within my calorie allotment each day
2) Cardio 5X a week/ Strength Training 3X
3) At least 8 cups of water a day

My weight is what is show on my ticker today so no sense in going and weighing myself again, it just seems like I'm beating myself up when I do it.
Today is sort of a lazy hot day so I dont know that we'll be doing a whole lot but today isn't a cardio or strength training day.

MrsAkins: Sorry about your sick poochy, hope he's better soon. Glad to hear you are sticking to your plans for good eating and things. I've been doing pretty good too. Yesterday cals went a bit high to 1699, but I still feel okay today and I'll weigh in Tuesday for the official count, but I think I'm down a little.

Sorry haven't been on much.....but my dog has been sick.....been doing mommy on her an babying and spoiling her. she got a new bed and a new collar (looks Roman) But have been sticking with my diet and eating better. Haven't weighed in yet.

Enjoy the beach Soleil. Maybe you'll gets lots of exercise walking in the sand.

I was going to treat myself to a DQ Peanut Buster Parfait tonight, but looked up cals and it's a whopping 730 cals, so I don't think I'll have me one of those. Maybe a small cone instead only 140 cals.

I'm off to the beach tomorrow, so I won't have a computer for a week..anyways, yesterday:
1911 cal (bad day!!)
90 min. of walk/run intervals
8 cups of water
-not a great day, let's just say that one cookie turned into manyyyy cookies. I'm trying to get back on track today..

Helloooooo???Anybody there? I hope you all haven't quit just because I joined in *lol*. Well for yesterday here's what happened:
1) over in cals 1699 (oh oh)
2) walked twice yesterday total of 4 miles
3) did all of my physio exercises (ouch)

How is everyone else doing. Come on now, I'm lonely here.

Hi There. Can I join your challenge? I would like to lose my last 7 lbs and then maintain. It is a really struggle as my body seems to be comfy right where it is.
1) Keep my cals between 1200-1500 per day
2) Walk 5 nights out of 7
3) Post here each day
4) Do my physio exercises to recover from shoulder surgery...need to do them every 3 hours right now and it's tough when it's painful

SOLEIL_197, don't know where everyone is but i am stuck wt work ;) LOL therefore not much updating on the challanges i am on but i do post my weight every week :) i did a 10 min belly dancing routine yesterday, plan to do it today as well, if not some more ;)

70 minutes walking on treadmill @ 5% incline

all that even with the flu! today i am starting to feel much better.. hopefully I'll be completely well in time for the beach.

I'm back from the vacation! I ate too much, but I've been getting back on track. Here's yesterday's info.
Weigh-in: 130 lbs (scale didn't move at all. bleh. at least I didn't gain.)
1700 calories (over my range)
1 hr. cardio (running, stationary bike)
6 cups of water
--not a great day, but I don't want to get down on myself about it. I just need to jump right back in.. and so far today is going well!

i hopped on the scale today...and i was happy: 67 kg or 147.7 lbs! i was so trying to loose something since i came back frm the vacation and i did it yey!
