Done, and man, that hurts! I need an exercise mat because my ribs are hitting the floor and.. owie...

hey
think i might have blown the calories today, but have donw everything else. have recently thought through exercise, now doing strength training regularly, but too hot for anything more exciting!

Hey, I've been gone for some time, spending the long weekend with family, but I'm still here.

2. Eat within your calorie limit and drink at least 8 glasses of water.

This should happen just fine, thank you very much. Not too sure about the past three days though...ah, familial celebrations!

3. . Don't look at the scale today.
I really, really am tempted to check if any damage was done this past weekend. I didn't eat that badly, but still. My weight is historically sensitive.

4. Plank or Modified Plank
I'm going to the gym after this message. Will do.

5. Back Extension, 2 sets of 10.
Ditto 4.

6. Re-evaluate your fitness plan.
I considered staying in Fast Break after this weekend's setback, but after further consideration of my goals and remembering some of the better choices I made, I decided to move on to Healthy Diet Habits as of Thursday, the two week SP mark for me.

2. Eat within your calorie limit and drink at least 8 glasses of water.

I HAVE 12 – 8OZ GLASSES OF water SO FAR AND AT 1491 CALORIES with a snack in there for later, within range for me

3. . Don't look at the scale today.

HAVEN’T AND WON’T

4. Plank or Modified Plank (remember to look up the exercise demo's on the Fitness Resource page on Spark). Try to hold for a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of .....well, as long as you can.

DID SPARKPEOPLE’S PLANK FOR 20 SECONDS THEN JILLIAN MICHAELS "PLANK UP" FOR A SET OF 10 WITH EACH ARM

5. Back Extension, 2 sets of 10.

DID 2 SETS OF 10

6. Re-evaluate your fitness plan. Have you taken the time to research, then design an exercise schedule that works for you? Do you have a good mix of cardio and strength training? Have you written your work-out outline down? This is the time to do that.

I RECENTLY RE-EVALUATED MY FITNESS PLAN BUT TODAY I WROTE IT DOWN AND PUT IT ON THE TAG BOARD ABOVE MY COMPUTER SO I CAN SEE IT EVERYDAY.

Hello everyone

I just cameback from the dentist. This S%*T HURTS LIKE HELL !!!!!!!! I can't even open my mouth. And, to complete the scene, I'm starving. Hope this goes away soon !!!!

Hi...I have been trying my best to complete the challenge...I have been keeping my calories within recommended amount and also been exercising as well as drinking my daily dosage of water...good luck to everyone :)

I'm up to 5 glasses of water and so far in my limits.

3. . Don't look at the scale today.

I try not to look at the scale on a regular basis.

4. Plank or Modified Plank (remember to look up the exercise demo's on the Fitness Resource page on Spark). Try to hold for a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of .....well, as long as you can.

Tonight is my strength training so I'll do them after I get home from work.

5. Back Extension, 2 sets of 10.

Same goes.

6. Re-evaluate your fitness plan.

Still in the beginning stages of this so I think I'm doing OK after reviewing it.

thanks Jules...yes i was and didn't do too well...only 4.41 lbs lost. this seems to be a pattern for me: loose-maintain-loose. oh well at least i came frm vacation weighing as much as when i left :)

Here is the challenge for TOMORROW:

CHALLENGE FOR THURSDAY JULY 6TH:

1. Stay with this challenge.

2. Avoid the scale. (just one more day.....weigh-in day is Friday)

3.
Reverse crunches - 2 sets of 25
Dips (on chair or step), 3 sets of 8
Bridge-Ups, 3 sets of 10. (try not to touch down in between reps).
Remember to check the SP Demo's for proper form.

4. No soda today.

5. Cardio - of your choice today but get a minimum of 30 minutes to complete this challenge and remember.....work hard when you're doing your cardio. (no slow strolls!!)

6.. Stay within your calorie range and drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water. (did you think I was going to forget this one?) hee hee.

BONUS CHALLENGE FOR THURSDAY JULY 6TH:
Are you looking to add some extra stars to your name?

You will get a star if you do not 'eat' after dinner ON THURSDAY....yes, that means no dessert. Drink some tea instead. Now...this doesn't mean that you should load up your dinner with a larger portion....keep your dinner the same - just skip the dessert.

You can do it!!!

Gatorgrad - I hope you enjoy your new gym membership, I love going to the gym and the only time I go is in the morning when the kids are still sleeping.

Sitaroundsue - drinking water is a habit for me now, it's second nature but it took a few weeks to get into the habit. I just always have a glass nearby - when it's empty, I fill it up again. I also drink green tea midday and in the evening.

Congratulations to everyone for working so hard at this. I'm hoping you'll see some results at this Friday's weigh-in.!!!

I've missed the bonus challenge this morning

Went to the supermarket, bought some fruits and yogurt. I'll be eating smoothies this 2 days. And soups, this are home-made too. So I guess I've accomplished today's challenge, except for the calorie range. I'll be "eating" liquids and smooth things all day.

4. I did the plank exercise at the gym this morning.

5. Same with the back extensions.

6.I'll have a look at my fitness routine tonight. I need to make sure I keep up my extra cardio (as well as my cardio and weight training I do at the gym).

Hello all, I hope everyone is doign great, I personally REALLY like this challenge and I think I am doing pretty good so far. I need to learn to start drinking my water earlier in the day. What I have been doing is drinking it all at night and then I am up all night, well, going to the bathroom but I am trying to get better with that. How do some of you drink so MUCH water throughout the day? I am starting to take a water bottle with me as much as possible, but I still feel I drink most of my water at night!!! Okay, well that is all for now, I will be back later to post how I did on the challenge today, so far so good! I will have no internet for about five or six hours today though, so HOPEFULLY I will still be able to post later, wow this is long! Hope everyone is having a fabulous day! Keep up the good work!

Hiya everyone.. just got back from a walk and I'm tuckered.

You all sound like you're doing so well! Great motivation
I hope you're having weather like we are; high of 76-78 and not a cloud in the sky, but a lovely breeze. Great cardio day!

Didn't do the exercise challenges this morning but I plan on doing them soon. I love planks, and I've never done back extensions, so it's a great combination!

Hello,
Just a quick note to say that I've told my daughter and my husband that I have to lose 7 lbs in the month of July. Always helps to share this burden and ask for help, right?

Still here and going strong....loving this challenge!

I am already at my 8 glasses and it is 11 am! I worked out hard and did 4 glasses just in the 45 minutes!

3. . Don't look at the scale today.
Normally I weigh on Monday but I am going to start weighing on Fridays for this challenge. Was at the Dr.'s today though and she got me on the scale so hopefully that doesn't count...lol (did lose 2 of the 7 lbs already though! YEAH)

5. Back Extension, 2 sets of 10.

my doctor and I went over an exercise plan and re-evalutated eating/calories today so I am right on schedule for challenge. I told her to recommend this site to EVERYONE...

I've already "failed" today's challenge. Today was a weigh-in day for a different challenge I'm in. Re-evaluation of the fitness plan will come Tuesday when I meet with a trainer at the university athletic cetner.

Good morning !!!!!

Here I am, getting prepared for my dental surgery in 1 hour. I'm starving cuz can't eat before the surgery. Only water and water. At this time (10:24am) already 4 glasses. Need something to eeeeaaaatttt !!!!!

After that going to the supermarket to buy some liquid stuff. Let's see how it goes.

My stats at this time:
1. Already post a message jajaja
2. Calorie limit: don't think so
3. Water: right on track
4. Scale: I'm dying to look. Have pair of jeans today and I feel them kind of loose. Don't know. Have to go to the gym for measures.
5. Plank: Had my lower back therapy this morning and did them there
6. Same as above
7. Re-evaluate excercise plan: hope to feel good for tomorrow so I can go to the gym and change some things.

Good Morning anyone. Well at least it is morning in California where I'm at.

I'm really liking this challenge. I've never considered setting daily challenges until this group. I know it is only the 5th day but I think I'm hooked.

One thing I decided for July was to give up soda. I believe that is really helping me to stay within my calorie range and I'm drinking more water so I think I'm hooked on that too.

Well our homeschooling day has begun. Have to go
