2. How long have you been biking / running / elliptical etc. for? 30 minutes? 45 minutes? 15 minutes? Whatever it is, add an extra 10 minutes today. DONE

3. Wall Squats (with or without ball) - 3 sets of 8
Bridge Ups - 3 sets of 8
Lying ADDUCTION - 3 sets of 12 on each leg
Crunches - 100, your choice of style
ALL DONE!!!!
4. If you drink tea and coffee - cut your sugar intake by half today of what you normally put in. No soda today (this should be turning into a habit now - don't buy it when you go grocery shopping...if it's not in the house, you can't drink. I don't drink anything except water, so this is not a problem for me!!!

Hi! Reporting for Thursday July 13 - I met the challenge!!

1. I stayed within my calorie range and drank 8 glasses of water
2. I had my Pilates class tonight and we were outside!! It was fantastic to breath "real" air!! Anyway, afterwards I power walked home (about 45 min!)
3. I've done the exercises
4. I never drink soda or tea and I am in the process of stopping drinking coffee during the week... (this is hard... but I want to give my body a break before night school begins in Sept.!!)

Bonus challenges

1. I completely forgot about the "not eat in front of the tv" one... I missed this one. It's a bad habit that I have.
2. I went walking with a friend during our lunch hour.

Tomorrow is weigh-in day. I feel kind of bloated... We'll see what the scale says tomorrow!!

challenge for thursday: Stayed in my cal. 140 oz of water today, Did a Billy Blanks BootCamp video; very very intense; wanted to quit at 15 minutes, but struggled through the next 15. I will keep at it until i can do the entire 45 minutes.

Lots and lots of squats in video!
No coffee or tea today. Did not watch TV all day!

TODAY I ADDED ANOTHER 15 MINUTES TO EQUAL 1 HOUR!! I WAS TOTALLY EXHAUSTED AT THE TIME, BUT REMAINED FOCUSED FOR HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FOR THE ENTIRE DAY. DONE

minutes? 15 minutes? Whatever it is, add an extra 10 minutes today. (Today I did five miles on the treadmill. That was one of the goals I set for myself yesterday--to try to get in five miles on the treadmill as many days as possible.)

*I worked out with my trainer today and then again with my workout partner. I was sore from yesterday's workout and probably will be sore tomorrow too! :)

I don't think my scale is budging! I'm NOT going to let that get me down!! I'm focusing on all the positives--the healthy choices, the exercising, the feeling great! I'm certain that I've lost inches, so I'm focusing on that as well. Planning on taking measurements at the end of the month to compare. I know I will be happy with those results! I know, too, that if I'll be patient, the scale will move.

I don't think my scale had budged. I'm NOT letting that get me down, though! I have made lots of healthy choices/changes. I haven't had a soda of any kind in over a week now! YES! That's amazing! lol I've even turned into quite the water drinker! lol

Thursday's challenge...

CHALLENGE FOR THURSDAY JULY 13

Normally I do every other day cardio but since this challenge I have been doing cardio everyday. The days I don't normally do cardio I do 30 minutes, the days I normally am scheduled for cardio I do 45-50 minutes...Today was one of my off days so instead of doing 30 minutes, I did 40 on the stationary bike...my legs are trembling!

3. Wall Squats (with or without ball) - 3 sets of 8 DONE
Bridge Ups - 3 sets of 8 DONE
Lying ADDUCTION - 3 sets of 12 on each leg DONE

I did 25 normal, 25 bicycle crunches and 50 crunches with a twist (25 each side)! OUCH

I don't use sugar in my coffee, I use splenda. Does this count or do you mean I have to use only half the splenda? I don't drink pop at all so I'm good with that...Coffee on the other hand...ouch. I don't know what I would do Jules if you said no coffee...working nights....yikes!

Sorry everyone, I haven't been able to keep up on posting, I am in the divorce process, and it's taking up so much of my time and energy.
I am doing my best to do the exercises, and the calories are not a problem.

Great job to all that are sticking to the challenges! As soon as I get my time a little more regulated, I will get back to posting on a regular basis!

Bicycle crunches - try for 100 (you can break it up into smaller reps)-this is the first time i've done these and I only lasted 55 total

3. Add a new goal to your list of goals. A goal that has something to do with working towards your new healthy lifestyle. Make it realistic and something that is achievable by the end of July. (ie: I will start buying some organic food,OR I will encourage my family to eat as well as I do...etc.) -I actually revamped my Goals today and its gonna help me out more.-DONE

4. Add some sprints to your cardio today. (warm up, sprint for 30 seconds, recover for 90 seconds then sprint again for 30 seconds - do this three times)-My cardio was walking today and I cant sprint because i'm recovering from a broken ankle ( in April) so i did little power/ speed walking sets-DONE

Congrats everyone!
I feel like I'm ruining the good roll we've been having on this post because I didn't make the challenge again today.
I did add a new goal though. My hardest days are my husbands days off. We like to sit and watch tv or visit and that usually incldes me snacking. He is good at not over doing it but I'm not:( Tomorrow he has another night off but I can do it. I must, I hear how wonderful everyone else is doing and I am getting jealous. I am very competitive and I think it is kicking in. It is just what I need.
