I think this is because I got a dress up box and filled it with dresses for Christmas and she loves to play "Cinderella". For no reason at all, my 3yo daughter walked up to my husband, put her hands on her hips and proclaimed, "you're not prince charming!" My husband told me this later and I just died laughing. I joked with him and said "Can't put anything over on her"

that's really funny!lol I've had my children say similar things to me, you just have to laugh it off, knowing they mean it in the most innocent ways.
My daughter walked into the bathroom once when she was little and made a comment about how my butt fit on the toilet compared to hers. lol

Last night I told my 3yr old son that I was going downstairs to exercise and he says why mommy? because you are fat?! And I said you think mommy is fat? He says are you a little fat or really big fat? LOL I asked him what he thought and he said I was big fat. I told him no his mommy is just a little fat!

I thought this would be a fun topic to start. The children in my life are continually coming up with things that just make me laugh. I have wanted to write them down so I don't forget them, but I never get around to it. This might be a great place to start, as not only can someone else enjoy a laugh from something my child has said, but I can enjoy a laugh from yours as well. I hope you will enjoy this topic.
I'll start off with something my four yr old said the other night. We had been playing "beauty salon" together, as she is such a girly girl. If fact I already worry about her and the boys. Anyway, though we were enjoying our time together, with what we were playing I worry about her vanity, so I started a conversation about our hearts. My intent was to share with her what really matters is what kinds of person we are, what kind of heart we have. So I said as I pointed to her chest, what's inside here? She answered, "my heart." I said, "that's right, and what should be in our heart?" She said, "goodness." I was estactic that she answered that and was ready to elaborate, when she looked at me with a look that said, "I know where you are going with this." (Keep in mind, my teenager and I had been joking around with each other earlier where she was kind of being mean with me. She had gone upstairs, with a half snotty attitude.) Anyway, my four yr old says to me, "You should be having this conversation with Brittany, she's the one being bad!"
I just died laughing. She is only four, how did that come out of her mouth. It was just too cute.
