| My reunion went great, my diet did not! Oops! I am going to have to get in extra cardio this week, really watch my calories and make sure I do at least 3 days of strength training.

| hey everyone! i just got back from vacation. we ate terrible up there and didn't do a whole lot of activity. so i'm weighing in on friday. i've only got 11 weeks until my sister's wedding (and she ordered my dress right after I had Abby so she ordered my pre-baby size!!)I really don't have a choice at this point!! It's time to get very VERY serious!! My goals for this week are 1. get in all cardio workouts scheduled 2. get in all weight training workouts scheduled 3. eat lean and clean 4. drink lots and lots of water 5. take time to reflect each morning on how I want my day to go, what I want to accomplish, and what I'm working towards. | Good for you Crocheter! I did my strength training yesterday, and I have got my cardio in everyday this week. I have also drank at least 8 glasses of water! I am so proud of myself. I feel great! I also have my ten year high school reunion this weekend and although I may not be the 120 pounds I was at graduation, I think I look great and that's what matters.

Hi everyone, I haven't posted for awhile. I'm still struggling with the cardio and toning consistently. I'm down a 2 lbs. though. That's the good news. I'll check in later. Jacksmom, you're doing great. Keep it up.

| I am finding it easier and easier. I don't drink pop anyway so that isn't a big deal for me, I guess I get so busy with doing things, I don't drink anything. Not pop, not juice... nothing. I know this is bad and I'm working on it.

My goals for July are to 1. Make healthier food choices. 2. Cardio at least 6 X/wk. 3. feel better about myself.
Jacksmom - It seems like the more water I drink the more I like it and I don't want the sodas and other drinks I used to have. Good luck

| I did really well on my water goal, it's easy to drink lots of water because it has been so hot! I have gotten in over 30 minutes of cardio everyday, but I have been unmotivated to do my strength training. For the next 3 days I am going to try really hard to do strength training at least once, I am going to stay within 1100-1200 calories and I am going to keep up 30 minutes of cardio.

| I have had a bad few days when it comes to my goals. I've been sick with an awful cold, and it's been really hot here so I ended up eating whatever I didn't have to cook. I also shortened my walk because of the heat and I have been slacking on my strength training. I am still holding at 155 though. I'll have to crack down this week (ten year high school reunion next weekend!). My goals are to drink eight glasses of water, complete a half hour of strength training every second day and get at least 30 minutes of cardio in every day. I am also going to cook every day even if it's hot.

Hi everyone, Weighed in today at 122. I've been doing the 1 lb. up and 1 lb. down dance for awhile now. My July goals are: 1. Lose at least 6 lbs. 2. Cardio for the entire month at least 3x. 3. Weights for the entire month at least 2x. The determination is here. I'm in Step 2 Week 2 starting Sunday. The weight is coming off very slowly but I am finally learning how to change my lifestyle: choose healthy foods, fresh fruits and veggies, and drink 8 - 10 glasses of water daily. If I do that consistently, I may not lose much weight, but at least they are better choices than in the past.

Hey all! I weighed in today at the same...134. Dang it...at least it didn't go up I guess. I am taking off for vacation tomorrow and will be gone till next sunday. I hope everyone has a fun and healthy holiday! My goals for July are: 1. Get serious and committ to losing these lbs. 2. Start marathon training for MT marathon in Sept. 3. Lift weights 4-5 days a week 4. Stay within calorie range 5. Log everything - food, workouts, & attitude - mine needs improving. today my mom stopped by and we were talking and she said to me, "You've had one heck of an up and down year!" and I thought to myself, "it's time to make it be all up for a while." I might need your guys' help in keeping the attitude up!!

I've been out of town with DH who had some eye surgery so I pretty much kept up with exercise and water. Don't know about calories. My upcoming goals pretty much include getting back on track and keeping up with my exercise and water.
Jen thanks for the advice, until I went out of town I'd been fluctuating my cal from 1500 to 1800 and lost 1.5 lbs. I'm going to keep my cal there until I start to slow down my weight loss then I'll try dropping them again

| Hey everyone! I am off to a good start! I had a terrible weekend because everyone who said they would watch my daughter so I could go to the gym bailed on me, so i was pretty inactive all weekend. but today is going well! i got up early, went to the gym, and feel so good about that! I almost shut off the alarm like I have been known to do... :)

| Everyone must post their weight on July 1st so we can see how everyone is doing and post a few goals related to the month of july. write them down on a notecard and tuck them in your purse, on your fridge, on the dash of your car, wherever works for you!! Keep working hard everyone!

| WAY TO GO JACKSMOM!!! 5lbs is awesome!! Hey everyone - we have 9 days down, time for goal set #4!! Lets set those goals for June 25, 26, 27!! There are only 6 days left in June - lets all rally for an awesome 6 days to end June on a positive note and start a great July!! my goals for the next 3 days are: track all foods and stay in calorie count, get in all workouts and run every day, and start every day off with a prayer of thanks. my attitude has been in the dumps lately and I need to remember all the good stuff there is and focus on the positive!!

| I got my cardio in everyday this week and managed to up the intensity on 2 of the 3 days. I was still a little under my target for water. I only got in 6 glasses a day on two of the days. I did lose 5 pounds this week though. WOW!

My birthday was last week, and with that came a lot of unhealthy food, as well as more than a little depression, so while I didn't completely slack on the exercise, I went over my calories quite a bit. I have managed to kick the tea in favour of water though, no minor achievement for someone who's used to drinking 4-5 POTS a day. I need to get back on track, and start carving out time to exercise instead of figuring that I'll fit in at some point later on.

| HELLO ALL IM STARTING THIS LATE I KNOW BUT AM WORKING TO LOSE 8LBS BY JULY 19 - ITS MY BIRTHDAY- AND ILL FINALLY BREAK 200 IF I CAN DO IT. IM HOPING FOR MORE. I CAN ONLY POST ONCE A WEEK HERE.. THATS BEEN THE TRICKY PART THESE DAYS.. TRACKING- IM JUST OUT MORE DUE TO SUMMER. I WILL MAKE MY GOAL THIS 30 MINS OF CARDIO 6 DAYS A WEEK. 2 WALK/RUNS FOR 60 MINS AND STRENGHT TRAIN 2X A WEEK. BIKE 2X A WEEK FOR 10 MINS OF INTERVALS. CALORIE RANGE 1600. MORE WATER....!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!

| Thanks for the suggestion I may try it. I'd read once somewhere in the years I've tried to loose weight, that if you plateau bumping your calories would help so I'll see. Lisa

| That sounds much better than trying to shoot down to 1200. I don't think you need to be that low to see results right now anyway. Try doing 2-3 days at 1500-1600, then take a day and go up to 1800-2000, then repeat. It's called cycling your calories, and it helps to keep your metabolism cruising. Hope that helps!!

Goals for 22, 23, 24. Get in 5 fruits/vegies, Drink my 64 oz water and exercise, stay below 1600cal.
Jen - I was way up there with my calories when I started and grad dropped them down. At first staying 2000 or below was my goal and I have been working my way downward. Twice I was down to the 1200 cal end and felt starved the next day so I'm trying not to be to aggressive with cutting my cal but at this point I think I should be able to stay around 1500 to 1600. Does that sound reasonable?

Hey everyone! I see Crocheter is on the ball about setting her 3 day goals this morning!!! Way to go!! We have been at it for 6 days guys...that means only 5 weeks left in this challenge!! 3 Day Goals (3rd Set) June 22-24 Track all food Get in all workouts Eat no processed foods My hubby is gone for the weekend to see his folks so I'm hoping to have a boot-camp type weekend! We'll see. -LISA- do you know how many calories you were eating before you started shooting for 1200-1550? If you were up around 2000-2500, then there is no way you would be comfortable with the 1200-1550, and it wouldn't even be smart for you to do that. It would be too drastic of a change and your body might think it was in starvation mode, which could be bad news for your metabolism. too few calories or sudden drastic drops in the amount of calories you are taking in can really slow it down.

Good morning everyone, I weighed in today at 123. I'm down .8 lb. I did drink the 10 glasses of water, didn't skip any meals and almost got in 4 f and 4 v every day. Goals for 6/22,23,24: track all food in journal, eat within calorie limit, cardio 30 min. every day. I have to run this a.m., but will check back in the evening to see all your great successes.

| I did fairly well on my goals. I came in a little short on the water on a few of the days, but I did do 30 minutes of cardio each day and I stayed in my calorie limit. For the next three days I want to work on getting the 8 glasses of water each day, up the intensity of my cardio and aim for 45 minutes of cardio each day.

Jenn my range is actually 1200 - 1550 but I am a bad stress/emotional eater and when I come home from work I want to graze on any thing and everything

| hey all!! today is the last day for the second 3 day challenge!! My first day was perfect, yesterday my daughter got sick so it went awful for me too, and I'm hoping to have another good day today...we will see. Lisa, i saw you are having a hard time staying in your calorie goal...what is your range?
