Hi again, I'm doing pretty well.I think I'll make it under my calorie range again today.When I 1st started I went 11 days in a row without goiung over.Since then,not so well. I weigh myself on mondays,so we'll see if the scale was good to me or not.I still have to make sure I get all my cardio in for the week.It's suspose to all weekend.So no walking for me. Hope you have a great weekend.

Elicia, good job on the water. That is how I started. And it didn't take very long to finally get to the point where I had to worry about it so much. Not that it is all natural to me now, drinking water, but I don't dread or hate it so much anymore.
Keep up the good hard work. And try not to get discouraged. When you fall off the bike, just pick yourself up and get back on. What happened yesterday is dead and gone. Today and tomorrow are other days.

| so far i am doing very well but some times i feel my self giving up while doing my arobic exercises but i push my self and i get it done!!

Hi Elicia, I do pretty well managing my weight.I haven't gained any weight in a while.Knock on wood.I still have between 70-80 lbs to lose.I take it one week at a time.I also know that I will have small weight gains and I'll have plateau weeks.I have learned not to sweat the small stuff and not go postal over the big things. How are you making out this week?

| hey SOKRFAMILIA maybe you r right i do need to try what you said to do yesterday i think i actually did good with my water i got up to 7 cups befor i went to bed but i know that is only a start like you said

Hi Elicia, I hope you had a good day yesterday.How about if you break that 45lbs down into 5 mini goals of 9lbs.If you average 2lbs a week weight loss.Then it will take 4.5 weeks to lose that 9lbs.You could always set it for a 6 week goal.That way it won't be to upsetting if you don't reach a certain amount in that time frame.Plus you won't feel like giving up.Also find an exercise you like.I love to walk,for me it doesn't feel like exercise. Sokrfamilia had a really good idea about the water.Water will help the weight come off.I always drink water throughout the day.2 with each meal,plus while I'm making my meals and in the evening.Even if you only start small and drink 4.It's better than nothing at all. Give yourself time to get used to how this site runs.You'll find it has many helpful areas. I've lost 65.8lbs in 13 months.I've had 2 set backs.The 1st scale I bought weighed 14lbs less than what I really weighed.Needsless to say that one met a hammer.lol.Then I bought a new sclae and it was right on with the Drs.So over the winter I had thougth I'd lost 17lbs.Nope,scale went nuts and didn't work.So instead of lossing it I gained it.Had a major melt down over that.I NEVER GAVE UP.I knew that with a bit of hard work I could get rid of it.So far I've lost all but 2 lbs of what I gained. Elicia14, It sounds like you are giving up before you even get started.
It is good that you recognize that maybe you have some bad eating habits. So work on them. Take one at a time. While working on getting rid of bad habits, add some good ones. Drink that water, gulp, gulp, gulp.
Lets say you drink a lot of pop (example). Replace that pop with fruit. And DRINK WATER.
Stop the negative thinking. You can do this just like we all can. No one said it was going to be easy, but it can be done.
You know I had a hard time starting to drink all that water. So what I did for the first few days was I drank a glass of water every hour on the hour til I got eight. After a few days I managed to finish the eight and then some.
NOW CHOP CHOP....Go get a glass of water and drink it down.

Elicia, How much weight do you want to lose?If you don't mind me asking.I made muself a mini goal of 20lbs by Sept 1st.Remember that taking it(weight loss) in small steps works wonders.Many people make the mistake of setting their goals to high and then set themselves up to fail. Make sure you drink your water and get some cardio in everyday.Try eating 3 meals and 2 snacks or 6 small meals a day.You'll soon figure out what works for you.This site is awesome and there are so many people who will help you.
