| Sorry I kind of disappeared. I went out of town and then yesterday just pretty much went down the drain. So, as of right now, this minute, I am officially starting this challenge. I am ready to do this and I will lose this weight. Today I am going to come up with a weight loss goal for myself.

Good Morning Nicole, How did you do yesterday?? I did pretty good Stats: 170 crunches- baby got fussy so couldn't finish ST for arms ST for legs 55 min walking for a total of about 2.5 miles plus walked to the T-ball game(10min one way) 9 glasses of water 1 cup coffee no soda grapes some veggies
went over on calories  Hope you are doing good!!! barb

That's great! I am excited that someone is interested in getting serious with me. Just so you know, I am not going to be doing the Progresive challenge, I am doing this instead. Just didn't want you looking for me at both places.

| I am not counting the crunches as part of my time. However, if you want to, you can. For me, the 200 crunches take about 7-13 minutes, depending on how motivated I am.

| Do you count your time doing sit ups as part of your 1 hour or outside of it? How long do those normally take?

Ok, I am tired of starting over and trying to lose weight that I know good and well should already be gone! At the end of last year, I lost almost 30 pounds. I was so excited. I didn't tell anyone that I was trying. After everyone noticed, I just kind of stopped trying. I don't know why I did that, but, in the process, I have gained back almost 10 pounds. Arrgh! It makes me so frustrated that I haven't been as determined and persistant. Well, I am done with the lifestyle that I have been living for the past couple of months! For me, there are 6 "keys to success" when it comes to weight loss. When I stick to these six keys, I lose weight. Whe I slack of the six keys, I stop losing and eventually gain. Well, I am ready to get serious. And I mean seroiusly, serious. So, if you are feeling the same way as I am, I invite you to join me on this chalenge. Yes, it will be tough. There will be days when we want to quit. But we won't! We will perservere! We will lose this weight. Anyone with me?
Here are the six keys: 1. Do 200 crunches daily 2. Drink one half your weight in ounces of water daily (For example, if you weigh 150, you drink 75 oz of water) 3. Do not drink any kind of soda 4. Keep your calories within the range set by SparkPeople 5. Exercise 300 minutes (5 hours) every week (Saturday to Sunday) 6. Weigh in once per week
I will use the following format to track my success: Date(5/23/06) Crunches: # of crunches done today Water:# of ounces drank today Soda: Y or N Calories: # of calories for today
Exercise (I put exercise separate so that I could keep a running total) Balance: Type done today: Balance:
Weight: Only on Mondays
Ok, ladies and gentlemen, there it is! It may seem extreme, but I am ready for some extreme results! I am ready to make a permanent difference in my life! Who's with me?!?
