I make chili, spaggetti sauce, cabbage rolls, and chicken noodle soup on my 2 days off a week and freeze them, that way i dont have to cook anything, because its all ready made :)

I've found that keeping fruit and raw veggies with me at all times helps me to stay away from the fast food places and from getting too hungry between meals. Fruits and veggies give you fiber and water and are very good for you and are low calorie.

Hey JennyD-
I have a busy schedule, too! For breakfast I do yogurt or yogurt with Kellogg's Meuslix. (Dump cereal into yogurt instead of milk - peach yogurt is my favorite!) I also will boil a bunch of eggs in advance and store them in the fridge for a quick breakfast.

For lunches, I throw together turkey, provolone & veggies in a tortilla, and viola- a wrap!
Also, on Sunday nights I usually make up a few salads & store them in containers- and put the dressing in separate small containers, so your salad won't get soggy! I also will make a big veggie fritatta on Sunday nights & portion it out for quick healthy meals.

Couscous with diced vegetables & pre-cooked chicken also makes a fast dinner that can be prepared in about 15-20.

These are just a few of the things I do to make my meals both quick and nutritious. If you'd like to hear more, email me @ ariellehemp@yahoo.com

Hello,
Would love any input. I work full-time and am going to school 2 nights a week and volunteer or meet with a group once a week and try to work out at least 4 days a week after work. I eat lunch 5 days away from home and dinner away from home 2 days. I would love any advice for eating on the go/easy quick meals or what you do? I would like to avoid eating out when possible that is where I make my biggest mistakes, but is the easiest since my husband is in school too.
Thanks for ANY advice you can offer! I also welcome stories about what works for you.
