Hey all. Hope you all are enjoying the holidays.
I didn't do too bad in the weight department even though I did have to sample all the holiday Goodies I cooked and baked.
Here's my weigh in Last week 140. This week 139.5. It's a step in the right direction.

Davina, great job on getting past your plateau. Keep up the great work. Laurie, thanks for the kind words.
This week I didn't do so great. Have been blah and sick the past couple of weeks so haven't been able to exercise and it is showing. Here's my weigh in for this week.
Last week 138 This week 139.5
Hopefully, will lose all that I gained back and then some this week. The week started out good but then I fought a migraine Tuesday and yesterday. We'll see how the rest of the week goes.

Kaylene,
You are really inspiring to me, to see your consistant progress. We started at about the same weight, so it keeps me thinking that I can get there too. Thanks for posting! .....laurie

Good job on your loss Laurie.
Sorry I didn't post earlier. I had a crazy weekend and then have been sick the past couple of days with a bug.
Anyway, here's my weigh in. Last week 139 This week 138.
Total for the challenge so far is 15 pounds lost. Woo-hoo!!!!!

Everett7374, keep up the good work.
I did good over the holidays. I made sure I didn't go overboard but I did enjoy a taste of everything. Then, I spent the last 2 days not eating much or doing much of anything since I was sick and mainly in bed or on the couch.
Here is my weigh in. Last week 142.5. This week 139.
Total for the challenge so far is 14 pounds. Yeah!! I now have 9 pounds to go to reach my overall goal and get to 130. I'm so excited.

well it must have been an intervention from God, because i managed to loose a couple more lbs. -- i don't know how, it certainly wasn't my diet or the excerising that i WASN"T doing -- but i went down -- now i have to get to the gym today and back on my diet to really take advantage of this miracle start:205 last:199 today 197

wow, i haven't weighed in a while, been ridiculously busy -- well, i've been up and down, w/my lowest being fri. @ 199 , but i'm scared to get on the scale again after a weekend of friends b-days and takeout -- i also haven't been to the gym in 2 wks. now, and things just seem popping up out of nowhere to keep from there again -- can't wait till the break, for thanksgiving, yes, but more for the free time to get my butt to the gym!! start:205 last weigh in 200 this weigh in 199 (i think!)

Hi Laurie,
It's GREAT that you've taken up running. I hope that I can get to a point where I can do that as well. I think I need to get my weight down a little more though so it won't be as stressful on my knees. Keep us posted on your progress. Just think, after the first 3 days, you already noticed a difference in that you ran further and weren't as sore. Just imagine how you'll be doing in a month! Great Job!

Hi everyone, hope this finds ya'll well today. I've started to run this week. I have a 1.1 mile course set up in my neighborhood, and I went for it on Monday. I ran as far as I could, then walked til I caught my breath, then ran some more, then walked. Tuesday my legs were hurting, ow! I did it again yesterday. My hubby says the hardest part of running is lacing up the shoes. It was a struggle internally whether or not to try again yesterday. I'm glad I did, not only did I do a bit more running than walking, my legs don't hurt as badly today, yippee!! My hubby has been gone for 6 weeks to a leadership course and he was doing exercises everyday. I wish that we would be able to run together, but he is much faster than I am, so I am looking for a local track that way we can run together. I won't really care if he passes me millions of times because we still would be exercising together, unlike a road course where I wouldn't see him except at the beginning and then when I got to the end, LOL! It is so much more fun to work out with someone. It's been hard having him away for that long~~I'm not a good single parent, but I have so much to be thankful for. I did have urges to night binge, just out of loneliness, but I stayed on plan. And thus far I haven't laid a finger on the kiddies halloween candy, victory for today! Hubby will be back shortly, it'll be great to have his support as the eating holidays approach. Our commissary is packed with all the fixings for the pumpkin pies, fudge, all those treats that have always been a 'must have for it to be Thanksgiving or Christmas' in my mind. I'm glad my mind is changing from those old ways of thinking. I can't imagine what it will be like to have not gained 10 pounds (at least) over the holidays when the new year arrives, God willing. Hey everyone. I've done not so good this week. I was down a pound for my regular weigh in on Tuesday, however, I gave in to temptations during the last part of the week. So here goes my weigh in for yesterday.

This is a new day and a new week. Back to good healthy habits.

This was a travel week with a full-to-the-brim schedule. I didn't get to exercise as much as I would have liked and also, for the first time since I started Spark, didn't log my food for 3 days. I think I did pretty good all days except one though. Anyhow, Happy Halloween everyone!

Everett, Congrats on your loss and good luck with the 200 lb mark. Each new 10 lb mark is a big deal! I have been yo-yoing between 158 and 154.5 for the last several weeks. I have a few good days but can't seem to string more that 4 days together where I stay in control. My goal is 140, but getting under 150 will be a big step!
