I'm always here checking in so I'll keep everyone on track. Safe travel to all those on the road and you can do anything you put your mind too. Remember that. Yeah you might not be able to exercise but as long as you schedule it for when you return home your routine should be easily started again. I try to fit in mini workouts even when not at home, it keeps me honest and motivated to continue what I've worked so hard to obtain. Just my thought for the day. Remember a few minutes of crunches and pushups and lunges keep you going in the right direction. Great job Pam on the loss.

Thanks, Sue and Melissa.
For everyone heading out for the holidays, I hope the very best for you. I know how tough it is to be away from home for an extended period of time at the mercy of someone else's cooking and plans.
For all of us party goers, having a plan is probably the smartest thing we can do.

Good for You Pam! Hope you are feeling better soon. I too am going away for christmas - 10 days. It is going to be tough, but I am making a plan now for the days when I will have to deal with parties and get togethers, then I will have to exercise more or eat less for the other meals.

|

Sounds perfect, Jamie! I will look forward to another challenge then. I think these short term challenges help me with working towards my long term goal. Thanks again, Sue

Due to your injury, I think you did stupendous with any loss too! Good job, Pam! Hope your ankle is feeling better? It is your ankle right? I thought someone said foot and someone said knee, so I became confused...not difficult with my mind lately. TTFN, Sue

Wasn't able to exercise at all this past week so I'm happy to be down at all. Don't think I'll make my current goal but I'll be really happy if I end up losing a pound a week. Pam
11/29 - 189.0 12/03 - 187.6 12/10 - 186.8 12/17 - 12/24 - 12/31 - goal is 181.5

Sue I will have another challenge going for let's say Ground Hogs day or Maybe we can run it out to St. Patrick's day. So you can still keep plugging away at your goal. I will always be here cheering everyone on and getting back to my goal weight.
Rachel can you workout at least 10 minutes before leaving for work? I know that sounds like it won't make a dent but you will be building a routine and with that comes habit for you and making time for something you know is good for you. I started out my workouts over 2 years ago and it's remained a habit for me that keeps me at least feeling good about doing something for me.
I am so happy to see so many on this board trying the challenge. Thanks so much.

It is going to be tough but I bet you can do it!. I know what you mean. I am going away for Christmas and then for New Year's in which we have an all day wedding (2pm to 1am). But I bet we can bring in the New Year feeling great.

How are all the New Years challenges doing? I need to step mine up a little or I won't make the 2+ lbs a week I need to make 205 by January 2, 2006! I almost forgot I am going away for the New Years weekend, so I will probably do my final weigh in before I go...that means less time! Gotta resist those temptations! TTFN, Sue

| You are so close to your goal too! With an increase in exercise I bet you will make it! You are doing great!

I forgot to post my weigh in the week! It has been so busy around here.
11/29 - 206 12/06 - 205.5 12/13 - 12/20 - 12/27 - 01/03/2006 - goal weight - 199
I am doing great with eating this week and trying now to increase the exercise. I really want to reach my goal!

That's for sure, Beckie Jo, about the "friendly pounds" coming back with the original pounds! Sue

Hang in there Tubbs, one pound here and one there over the long haul will add up. Don't get discouraged. As women our weigh even if we eat the same amount of calories and get the same exercise daily can change just like that too daily. Just keep up the good work, with your eating and what exercise you are able to fit into your busy schedule. Celebrate each pound hun. Or it will come back and bring friends (more) with it. EWWWWW! LOL. We are here if you need us. Hang strong girls during this time of year. New Years will be here before we know it and we are all going to bring it in smaller !! Yeah! Becky Jo

| congrats to all of those who are losing!! i'm not sure how my weigh in will go saturday morning. i'm making small changes and easing into it. every day seems a little better than the day before. but the problem for me is i'm not working out. i don't have a gym membership and i haven't been able to do any of my videos at home because things have been crazy. i'm planning to get a gym membership next week with my Christmas bonus. keep up the hardwork everyone!!!!
|
|

I know what you mean, Tubbs, I think the same way. If I lose 4 pounds one week, then why not the next and so on. But I am learning to be more patient, maybe that is a another side effect of this plan! TTFN, Sue

Paolina I'm right there with you. I see a new great number on the scale and it's like an invitation to go overboard in the food department. WE just have to remember that we reached that goal through hard work and undoing all that hard work isn't just worth throwing out the window by binging.
Or at least I try to live by that code, doesn't always win but then starting over to reach that goal really isn't fun either. You go girl keep up the great work Paolina!

Tubbs, don't be disappointed. You are still losing and a pound is significant. Look at it this way -- you've lost 5 pounds in just two weeks. 2.5 pounds per week is impressive.

11/30-139 12/07- 138 12/14- 12/21- 12/28- 1/4-135
I am a little disappointed seeing that last week I lost four pounds. I am hoping that it has something to do with the fact that I worked late and didn't have dinner until 9 and then went right to bed. But hey a pound is a pound and now it is one less that I need to lose. Everyone you look like you are doing great!

Good afternoon All. It looks so good to see the losses you all have had. Can't wait til my sat. weigh in. Keep thinking positive and don't let the little things get you down. Day by day we are all reaching our goal! Becky Jo

I did well last week but I think a lot of it was probably water. I tried to be reasonable when I went out to lunch today but I am fighting the urge to binge today. I shall have to be careful not to feel too complacent because of last week's loss.
I'm sure we'll all be happier starting next year a few pounds lighter.

Busy, busy day. Here are my stats. Only 1/2 pound down so I was bummed, but I will not give up! I will have to catch up with the board later, but here it is.
