Hey everybody, it's me ... you know ... "slacker" Daneene! I've been so busy trying to juggle all of the schedule changes (back to school!) and kids' extra-curricular activities - plus 55 to 60 hours per week with my day care business ... I'M SOOOO EXHAUSTED!!! I know it's no excuse ... but the first thing that I cut out of my daily schedule when life gets CRAZY is "time to take care of myself"... so here are the totals that I have not posted yet:
8/29 Gardening 30 Minutes treadmill 30 Minutes MAJOR Housecleaning 60 Minutes
8/31 Slim in 6 Workout 35 Minutes
Total: 155 Minutes
August Minutes Pledged: 800 Minutes Remaining: 130
Unfortunately, the month is over and once again I fell short of my goal ... however, there is always next month! Hope all of you will continue to share your success stories with me. It really is what keeps me coming back every time I "fall off the wagon"! Thank you for your continued encouragement - you have all been there to cheer me up time and time again. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Thanks for the well-wishes Debi! It's greatly appreciated. My ankle and shoulder still hurt but my appointment with the ortho isn't until 9/22 so I just have to wait this out and take it easy.

Looks like everyone is doing great. Keep up the great work.
I worked out on my elliptical for 60 minutes this evening and then did 30 minutes of upper, lower, and core exercises. That's 1465 minutes for the month. 65 over my adjusted goal.

Hey everyone! I am so off the wagon this month!!! I have been slacking in the excercise dept. and I have been snacking way too much!!! I have gained 3 pounds!!! A lot of emotional eating this month but that's no excuse!!!! I am back on the wagon today!!!!!! I walked 30 minutes after lunch today and went to Curves for 30 minutes after work!! I am turning 42 on Saturday! I will start over with pledging minutes next month. I have lost track for this month, I am sure I am way off!! Tomorrow is a new day!!! Good luck to all of you on your last day of this months challenge!!! You can make it!!

Good afternoon all, Hope your weekends were great. Shelly and Daneene keep working on that slim n 6. I know how hard it is to continue after not doing the tapes for a while. I have Joyce Vedral tapes and use part of one this morning, It is hard to believe that I use to do these, I thought that my legs were going to fall off. I can not fathom how some people actually play racquetball. (Keep up the good work Kaylene.) Michelle and Paolina hope you both are doing better today. Shelly I really like the Aquarobics classes but they are so different with each teacher. Hey everybody. Was not able to post this weekend because we were having internet problems at home. I did take my boys swimming on Saturday for 2.5 hours. I'm only counting 120 minutes though because I played with the boys for a little while. I got them masks and snorkels so they were having a blast with them.
No exercise for me yesterday. Was down with a migraine. Yuck.
That makes 1375 for the month for me. With my adjusted goal, I have 25 minutes to go.

Thank you for your kind wishes. I'm feeling a lot better but I had some allergy tests and have to go on a non-gluten diet for 4-5 weeks starting next Wednesday. I hope everyone else is recovering.
You are all doing so well and we've only two days to go.

Good Morning
I hope everyone is off to a great start today. I find it easier if I get my exercise in first thing in the morning before all of lifes little surprises pop up. To all of you who are sick or injured I hope you get well soon. Danene I think it is great to have a Slim in 6 buddy. I sure need the encouragement to get through it. I can't believe how hard it is for me I am sooo out of shape. I did the start it up this morning, I think I will start the ramp it up on Monday does that sound good to you? Let me know. Thanks for all the kind words. I see the orthopedic in 2 weeks so I'll let everyone know what I find out then.
I walked this morning for 30 minutes. Still at a slow pace but it makes me feel better that I'm doing something.
Walked at lunch as well for 40 minutes!

Everyone is doing a great job. Keep up the good work.
I played racquetball with my son this evening and he is still feeling like superman because even though I made it a lot closer he still beat me all 4 games we played. I was only a few points off each game so it was better than last Thursday.
We played for 90 minutes. That makes 1255 minutes total for the month so 5 minutes over goal. I'm going to add another 150 minutes to keep up the momentum.

Good morning everyone! Thanks for such a great welcome—I am ready to go! Daneen – We can do it! Kayleen, you are doing great, hope your daughter is feeling better now! Hope you feel better Paolina, keep up the good work! Michelle, don’t push yourself too hard, just do what feels comfortable until you see the orthopedist. Wouldn’t want you to injure yourself more. I am proud of your dedication! Debi, how do you like the aquaerobics? I was thinking of taking a class at the gym. I want to try Pilates also! Shelley, I like that you are focusing on you. It is so easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing and forget about ourselves, good job getting back on track! Everyone here is motivating me to do more!

Hello Everyone,
I have seriously fallen off the wagon but I am ready to jump back on. It has been very crazy the last couple of weeks with illnesses, injuries and getting ready for school. I'm sure it has been for everyone but I am ready to focus on me again. Of course that is easier said than done. Congrats to all of you who are sticking with it, you are all doing great.

ps. Danene the slim in 6 is very hard for me also, I really struggle with it. I haven't done it in a few weeks so I started over today with Start it up. Good Luck it will be worth it. Know that I am struggling right along with you. Has it gotten easier for you?

Thanks for all the well-wishes! I'll let you know what the doctor says. My regular doctor said that I can still walk until the appointment so I'm going to get out there again today at lunch.
Everyone is doing such a great job! Even though I can't get out there and do more I work up a sweat just thinking of all the exercise everyone else has been doing!

Kaylene, how is your daughter now? You've almost reached your goal for this month, which is great with all the setbacks you've had.
8/25 walking 40 minutes. I had some sort of stomach upset today so wasn't able to do any exercise. That makes 1315, with 185 to do.

I was out there again today. 30 minute walk. But, bad news. I now have to go to see an orthopedic for both my knee and shoulder since the pain is really not going away like it should. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it's nothing serious!
