I weighed myself this morning and was so happy that I lost some weights until I weighed myself again in the afternoon and gained some of the weights

On average your body weight can consist of about 5-10 pounds of just water weight. You didn't actually lose 6 pounds of fat most of it is just from water weight. The best time to weigh yourself is first thing in the morning before eating, etc. because your weight will be more consistent.

Your weight will be higher if you have too much sodium the day before. salt is a factor of water retention.

Hi,

I have the same problem. Last time I dropped weight I weighed myself three times a day for a week just to see how it varied from time to time. I couldn't believe it, but I actually averaged a fluxuation of SIX pounds per day! Granted I did it at the extremes of the day...before I ate anything and after the morning bathroom routine, afternoon when I drank a lot of water and after a full dinner and plenty of water. SO, the best way to gauge your weight loss is to do it at the same time everyday. But, to tell you the truth...sometimes I weigh myself at a time that I know I'll be heavier and then at a lighter time the next day. He he...tricks my brain into giving me a mental boost!

I know that depending what time of the day I weigh myself I weigh a different weight.

Hiya!
I weighed myself to put my stats in two days ago and I was 198. I did some exercise and stretching etc yesterday but didn't weigh myself. Now I got up this morning and weighed myself and I was 192. Isn't it impossible to lose like 6lbs in a day and half??
I'm well confused!
