I don't use the machines at the gym or the free weights at the gym, I do my strength training at home in front of the TV. I use free weights, ball, and sometimes a resistance band.
I customized my strength training exercises on my fitness page to target certain areas, and in a month or so I will change it and add some new things to do.
My fav. ones to do are to use my ball like I would a weight bench and use my hand/free weights and work my arms & chest. I only use up to 5 lbs right now and it is working out great.
Spark has a lot to choose from for all different levels of fitness. There is also a bood called Strength Training Made Easy by Joyce Verdal(?) and she demonstrates free weights & machines. Good luck!

| Also if you go to my tools you can go to change my goals and in the questionaire it will ask you if your ready to do cardio and strength if you check yes on strength you can hit add strength from your Fitness Tracker and there are demos and all kinds of good info on how to do strength training.

| If you go to the Resource Center you can get alot of information on strength training. Strength training just doesnt consist of weight machines and lifting there are alot of other exercises that you can do without machines , as a matter of fact there arent many resources on using machines spark people teaches you the proper ways to do alot of the exercises you will have to chose what you want to work on . The best thing you can do is take the advice of the resident experts .

| Luckily, I work at a place that I can go to the gym during lunch. But before, I would use a theraband at home while watching tv. I also have one of those balls that I can never seem to balance on!!:) haha.

| I'm new to this and I was curious if you were supposed to do just the strength training listed on the fitness page or if you're supposed to do machine work at the gym. What do y'all do?
