| I agree kick boxing is way to ambitious for me with just starting out.

| Kick boxing is much more ambitious than my walks with my husband and weight training. Good for you!

| You also have to remember. that you have to eat the right amout of calories for the types of exercises that you are doing. I you are burning a high amount of calories and are trying to eat 1200-1500 calories that might not be enough calories to take in. It can solow that weight lose down. That's what happened to me. I was doing kickboxing for an hour every day and eating that much calories but not losing anything. I upped the calories a bit and low and behold I statred losing. You should put in your ecercise tracker that amount of calories you burn for the week and it'll show you how many calories to take in.

| Wow-I have been so busy I haven't posted in a while. I gained a couple of pounds during the holiday but am now back on track. I still have a goal to loose 20 pounds by Labor Day.

Sally Ann, You are so right, but it's so hard to be patient with that scale. How are you doing this week? The Memorial Day weekend threw off my exercise. Today I'm back on track. Hope you are seeing results soon...it's really nice that your husband is at least.

I am exactly where you both are. I watch what I eat, staying within the calorie range, work out and am seeing no results.
The only good news is my husband keeps telling me I am looking better.
What I have decided is to continue doing what I am doing. Be more careful with calorie intake, trying to stay on the low end, and KNOW it will catch up. I just would like to see the scale move sooo bad--it's been a month, but will continue to be patient. If I am not, I'll give up and go back where I started.

I'm fighting the same battle right now... and I'm out of ideas. I tried to eat at the low range of my calories, tried eating at the high end. I went over a couple of times but that didn't work either. I'm not even losing inches!! I decided to just go into maintenance and take it from there.

Is anyone else finding the scale at a stand still? I've been really working hard on cardio and strength training and keeping my calories in check. Any ideas? Thanks!
