I'm the same way, I eat some chocolate just about everyday. It puts me in a better mood almost instantly. I usually have it after dinner so I don't overdo it all day. For some reason, even after I'm full, I still crave a piece of chocolate!

I love chocolate, and want it all the time..lol.. I just hate adding it to my food tracker. I eat chocolate at least once or twice a day. I cant help it.It calls my name. :)

Its true logging on the food tracker is a great help. But you have to be honest and log every item that enters your mouth. Even that 1 cracker that was sitting on the counter.
Depriving ourselves only leaves us wanting it more. You are here to learn to eat well but not deprive. Just choice to eat in moderation those high calorie foods. I try to figure my food for the day ahead. SOme meals are easy, breakfast and lunch for me. Then I can adjust my dinner and snacks if I feel I need something I have been missing.
GOod luck and continue tracking.

Good for you that you logged that chocolate into the food tracker. It is just sooooo easy to "forget" about it. I just hate to see how many calories a small hershey's kiss has in it. How do they get so many calories in something so small??

Nice. Yeah, I definitely agree that tracking your foods helps keep the delicate balance between depriving yourself and going overboard. Thanks for the reminder, I could use it!

I think I finally have figured out how to get my chocolate cravings under control. I was on LA weight loss and lost 15 pounds which I have since gained back because I have gone overboard on chocolate (after depriving myself while losing the weight). I even went up since posting my starting weight a couple of weeks ago but am now back to that starting weight and hopefully will continue downward. By using the Nutrition guide and inputting what I've been eating everyday "honestly". I have surprised myself and have made some adjustments to what I'm eating. I also allow myself a few hersey kisses or a fun bar every day and then I'm good to go. No more cravings.
