Hey Fumbling, I looked around some more and discovered that a search for "diet" or "nutrition" software gave me some choices closer to what I was looking for. Take a look at "Kathleen's Diet Planner" because it seems to have everything I need. One of my favourites so far is that for your shopping list you can provide a date range and it'll generate the shopping list for the items for that date range. Also, you can download a demo. It costs $79.00 Canadian or ~$70.00 US. Right now I'm playing with the demo but I'm seriously considering the purchase. Let me know if it helps you out. Cheers.

You can plan recipes with nutritional breakdown information on the www.sparkrecipes.com website, plus you can add them to your favorites so they're simple to add to your tracker.
As for it creating a grocery list, they haven't added that feature yet, but it sure would be nice. :)

Hello everyone. I think Sparkpeople's software is great because it does the important stuff but it lacks a bit of flexibility that I need to be able to customize the menu properly. I love how I'm able to plan each meal and each day based on the calories and how I'm able to add the necessary servings of a recipe for that day based on calories, however, I would really like to be able to add my own recipes, create the meal plan, and have it spit out the shopping list for that week. Anyone find any software out there that can do that? Thanks
Joe
