| I found the Laughing Cow Cheese! I tried it with a banana and a Flat Out bread with cinnamon. I think I like it more than with the peanut butter. YUM! I had it on a turkey wrap today. Delicious! I'm thinking apples and Laughing Cow Cheese tomorrow.

I'll look for the cheese the next time I'm at Target. Thanks! I'm going to try the sugar free chocolate syrup on bananas too.

I love the Peanut Butter and banana wraps, too (try using PB2 from bellplantation.com - 54 calories for 2 tablespoons).
I love bananas and eat them a lot, but my other two favorite ways are:
1) sliced into my oatmeal with some cinnamon and a little Splenda brown sugar (or DaVinci Gourmet sugar-free syrup)
2) Layer sliced strawberries, sliced bananas and fat-free Cool Whip in a bowl. Repeat layers if desired. My favorite summer dessert. (A little squirt of sugar-free chocolate syrup between the layers doesn't hurt either!)

| Oh you have to get some laughing cow cheese. they are little individually wrapped triangle wedges. They come in 3 flavors. I get the swiss. It only has 35 calories and is so creamy and good. You can dip apples or celery in it, use it as a sandwich spread, or melt over noodles. I can get them at Target, Safeway, and King Soopers. They dont have to be refridgerated and are usually near the deli. They come in round cardboard boxes........sooooo good and one of my staples.

I've never heard of laughing cow cheese. What kind of cheese is it? Where do you get it? I've become addicted to these banana wraps. I've started having one every day.

| LORIBAMA- I do a variation of your wrap that is super good too...tortilla, banana, wedge of laughing cow cheese, cinnamon and splenda. Wrap warm and eat....so yummy, and takes very decadent for less than 200 calories!!!

You might try this link and see if you can still request a recipe booklet from the National Honey Board. They have some fun summer style recipes, including one for a banana roll-up with peanut butter, honey and raisins. They suggest the option of warming it in the oven for a bit. (I know this is a bit irrelevant to the original topic!)

You can also download the pdf, too, from this page, which also has the link for the brochure request on the bottom right. http://www.honey.com/snack/index.html
It's a cute brochure!

| I will try that! I thought about adding a little honey next time too.

| Microwave it for a bit and it will be even more fantastic! It's especially great with crunchy peanut butter.

| I was looking for a quick dinner last night and grabbed a Flat-Out bread wrap (whole wheat tortilla with 90 calories and 9 grams of fiber), spread it with one teaspoon of Peanut Butter (it really was enough) and rolled up a banana in it. It was delicious!

Top plain (or flavored, if preferred) yogurt with banana slices and sprinkle cinnamon and puffed wheat or rice on top for a satisfying snack or dessert.
A fun way to prepare them for a bit of a fancier dessert is to split one side of the banana open through the skin, then put them under the broiler for about five minutes until the skin is blackened. Your banana will be nice and warm and you can eat it with a spoon right out of the peel. I've seen a roasted banana bread recipe (although you didn't want that) use this method, and I'm sure you could do other things to it, too, like top frozen yogurt with the warm banana. The idea came from a recipe which also called for butter and brown sugar to be added. If you would like the link for the full recipe, I could post it. I thought it was fantastic without the extras, though, and much healthier, of course!
I also use it as a topping for my cold oats in the morning.

For me, bananas are fantastic just plain with peanut butter.
But if you don't really enjoy this, you can toss one in a blender with some milk, honey, and ice. Yummy! You can even add some protein powder for protein.
One of my favorite snacks, which is also very easy, is eating a sliced banana with some cottage cheese. That way, you get both carbs and protein.

| I eat my bananas with peanut butter.

| I think frozen bananas are delicious. Just don't leave them in the freezer too long. If they get as hard as a rock they aren't good. A few hours is enough. Very ripe peeled baby bananas are good for that. I put them on a skewer and roll them in fat free syrup or almond flour or ground up peanuts.

|
| You can make a smoothie using a banana, a cup of orange juice, a few cubes of ice, and maybe some protein powder if you have it. Sometimes I throw in strawberries or yogurt... just whatever I have in the fridge. Frozen fruit works really well too :)

Here are some ideas:
Fake fried-plantains: Cut bananas in half lengthwise and put into hot non-stick skillet with non-stick spray or a tsp. of oil. After they brown a bit, sprinkle them with salt and lime juice (or a little sugar).
Banana pancakes: Use whole-grain pancake mix and prepare as directed. When pancakes have cooked on one side, add banana slices and then flip and finish cooking. Eliminates the need for syrup entirely.
You can make this even healthier by making protein pancakes: In a blender combine: 1/2 C. oatmeal, 1/2 C. fatfree cottage cheese, 4 eggwhites, a few packets of Splenda and a few dashes of cinnamon. Cook in skillet like regular pancakes.
You could also add bananas to a fat-free milk and yogurt for a smoothie or shake.

| I know this is probably stupid but i want to eat bananas more. I don't want nothing like banana bread, i just want something quick and simple and of course still healthy. I've tried frozen banana but that wasn't very nice, lol.
