I just had my third, too, although he's 7 weeks old. I have a 4 and a 5 yo, too, and I'm ready for this baby weight to be gone! I have 60 pounds to lose, but from my weekly weigh ins, I'm not doing too badly. -1.4 pounds this week, but -5 pounds last week! Hoping for another week like last week... LOL I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone

Hello... I just had my third child 14 weeks ago and I feel ready to get back in shape. I had a c-section with him and now I feel ready to give it my all.
I have two beautiful DD's ( 8 & 4) that keep me busy so I really need to work out an exericse plan. We are currently living overseas so this site is so helpful and I hope keeps me motivated. Good luck to you all.

I'm trying to lose baby weight too. I have 16 lbs to my pre-preg weight and 45 more after that. My DD is 7 mos and I have 2 mos before I go back to work. DD, DH and I go for walks with the stroller almost every night and I try to fit in strength training while she's sleeping (after the chores are done). I've been doing yoga/pilates and the odd aerobics/tae bo video when I can fit it in. It's tough and sometimes I don't get to finish my video/circuit, but DH helps alot with DD and is really supportive of my goals. Just keep plugging at it ladies, we'll get there!

Honestly there is no good answer to that one, but I suspect you knew that. You just have to make it a priority. Swap workout times and watching the kids with your SO or do it during nap times. Or get up before them (which I'll admit is almost impossible before they start sleeping through the night) or do yoga/pilates at night after their bedtiem(I find I can still sleep when I do these, but not something like the treadmill, but we are all different). Take walks with your child in a stroller (wonderful for colic) or find other ways to incorporate your little one. It is all about finding something that works for you that you can stick with, but it can be done. And as your child gets older it may change a little too (they like to keep us on our toes don't they?).

How do you guys fit in exercise? I feel like I just don't have enough time in the day as it is and exercise is definitely the first thing to go!

Well, I just had my third boy on the 17th, I'm smaller than what I was when I became pregnant w/him, but the bad news is I've never lost the weigtht that I gained w/my first (70lbs.). My pre-pregnancy weight was 135lbs., and since the first, my average has been 185lbs. Somehow I was a whopping 212lb. when I conceived this one, and that's what I was the day I had him. Now, I'm down to 196.7lbs. w/out much effort, so I hope the momentum will help.

That's great that you are off to a good start. I lost my baby weight, but then I stopped paying attention to what I was eating, as well as not exercising. So now here I am, and I am ready to lose it the right way.

I am ebf and i am finding that i am starving so its really hard for me to stay within my calorie limit.Good luck. Hope we can both loose this baby weight.

I used to be a dedicated Sparkpeople user and then I got pregnant. Here I am back again to try and lose the baby weight!

This worked so well for me before so I am hoping it does again!!

Is anyone else trying to lose the baby weight?
