| Don't get me wrong I am completely trying to lose weight the healthy way. I've tried the crash dieting in the past and have been very impressed how much this site has helped me lose. I would like to be in the lower end of my BMI so that when I do have a little one I will be more able to stay healthy. Thanks for the advice on the prenatals. When is too early to start taking them?

Be careful with trying to get down as low as you can go.This is a time where nutrition and health and keeping your body strong is just as important as your weight. Make sure to start taking prenatal vitamins now if you will be trying to get pregnant. If not, then a good multi with the requirement of folic acid is important.
If you lose too much or stress your body , your menstrual cycle can change causing difficulty in getting pregnant. Good luck, I am a nurse and mom of 4.

| This is just the site I was looking for. We will probably start trying to get pregnant this summer and I am working my hardest to get down as low as possible and as muscular as possible. I figure if I get on a simple excercise plan now, I will be able to keep it up while I"m expecting. Thanks for the BabyFit site!

Hi Krista,
Good luck reaching your goals and expanding your family. Getting yourself to a healthy routine with eating right and getting fitness in each week will help you have a better pregnancy and delivery when the time comes. You may also want to speak with your OB/GYN to see about getting a prescription for pre-natal vitamins.
SparkPeople has a sister site called BabyFit (also free) for expecting mothers and women who are trying to conceive or have already deliverd. You should check it out when you are ready! www.babyfit.com
Be well, Kelly
